I think most of knew this was how it was going to end. I also think this team isn’t much without Edey and it was exposed by a far superior team.Comment

Uconn looked... 'inevitable'.
Great season for Purdue, but I'm not sure what they could've done differently based on the games I saw. Uconn could make things tough for Edey, while still allowing Edey to get his points (but wear him down in the process) while pretty much shut the others down. There was no plan B for Purdue, but I don't know what it could've been based on the options. Maybe someone that's watched every Purdue game knows of something that they could've done differently.Nuntius was right for a while. I was wrong for a while. But ultimately I was right and Frank Vogel has been let go.

Incoming 7'3" freshman Daniel Jacobsen earns spot on USA Basketball U18 team
https://purduesports.com/news/2024/5...-national-team
and his head-turning performance at the workouts earned him a ratings boost, into the top 100 at #83. He only averaged 7.6 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.5 blocks at Brewster Academy last year but beat out several 5-star prospects to earn a roster spot

Jacobsen has huge game in USA's win over Argentina in Americup
Incoming Purdue center Daniel Jacobsen continues to impress whenever he's on the court. Monday, he put up big numbers as USA Basketball's U18 National Team defe
5 blocks but also was able to step out and defend on the perimeter, that sounds good

The article said USA would play Brazil today but I think that was made before the Brazil - Belize game where Belize pulled the upset, as it's USA against Belize today
USA is scorching, up 21 - 0. Jacobsen starts, hasn't really done anything on offense but is definitely influencing things defensively. He moves well, and looks to have maybe been a Matt Haarms fan, judging by the hairComment

Kanon Catchings released from his NLI and re-opens his recruitment

That solves the problem of the schollies being overbooked by one
Supposedly a big loss, but I'm on record in this forum back when he went with OTE that I'd believe he was coming here when I saw him suit up for a gameLast edited by Dab; 06-30-2024, 10:02 PM.Comment
