Sounds like AOC and Gardner Minshew are in a real lackluster battle for the Raiders starting QB job

Daniel Jacobsen listed as 7'2" when he committed to Purdue, 7'3" on the Team USA website, and now at 7'4" on the updated official Purdue sports website

Edey finally played again and rolled his ankle again, the other one this time, and only played the first quarter. Seemed indestructible in college

Interesting but meaningless stat: Zac Edey's last two 'official' games

37 points, 10 rebounds, 2 blocks against Donovan Clingan

14 points, 15 rebounds, 4 blocks against Walker Kessler

Playing against Kessler in his 1st NBA game was a defensive boon for Edey, Kessler doesn't really have an outside game, he's kind of a shorter version of Edey. And although Utah was fairly stacked for a Summer league team they didn't really run anything to take advantage of Edey's perceived shortcomings. It'll be interesting to see how Zac does against more mobile centers but for now I guess we have to wait

He rolled his ankle in the 1st half but then played most of the 2nd half and OT. It's understandable that after that they would sit him out the 2nd day of a back-to-back but Memphis actually sat all the 1st game starters in the 2nd game and from all reports Zac's ankle is fine

Edey goes from longshot ROY candidate to co-favorite, according to the betting money

Zach Edey is now the consensus betting favorite for the NBA Rookie of the Year after his outstanding summer league debut with the Grizzlies.

Edey misses a massive putback slam to take the lead late but gets the tip on the intentionally-missed 2nd free throw to send the game into OT

Double-double, something like 13 points, 12 rebounds and a couple of blocks. It's just Summer League, can't be taken seriously, but nice 1st game

Alright, oaf vs oaf, Edey vs Kessler in Summer League play

We got Filipowski in there too, but I don't he really qualifies
