Interesting but probably ultimately meaningless fact of the day: Zach Edey is the first player to score at least 50 points, grab 40 rebounds and shoot 65% from the floor in the first two games of the tournament since Lew Alcindor in 1968
What I like is the way Cam Heide is playing. and suddenly Myles is getting minutes and actually smiling. Morton and Furst have pretty much dropped out of the rotation
What I want to know is, has TKR turned some kind of corner? Have they been holding him back or something in order to throw a new wrinkle into the offense going into the tournament? It's a small sample, just the 2nd half of the Grambling game and all of the Utah State game, but all of a sudden he's a legitimate threat on offense. Edey is actively looking for him on the double-teams and getting the quick pass to him, and they're running plays for him. Also, he's been a maniac on the offensive glass. If he keeps this up, how do you counter that if you're not UConn?
