Point is that in the highlights he makes multiple jump shots, he even makes left handed and right handed shots in the post, his arsenal goes as far as to been able to make layups with either hand.


All he needs to do is hit jumpers like Giannis and he is good.

Giannis actually shoots jumpers though. Mid-range and 3's. And that's with him being paired with a center that can space the floor.

Ben doesn't do that. He rarely shoots anything past 10 feet. If you pair him with another player who doesn't space well? Going to cause major problems, especially in the playoffs.

And sure Embid was a big part of it but the guy was out for a good chunk of games, Sixers got the number one seed because of Ben.

The Sixers went 7-9 when Simmons played without Embiid this year. They were 4-5 when Embiid played without Simmons. They were 3-2 when neither one of them played.

Simmons only played 7 more games than Embiid this year. I am certainly going to lean towards the way more dominant player when they were both there as the reason they got the #1 seed.

I just looked it up. The longest shot Simmons made that day was from 5 feet away (the shot he's taking at the 1:20 mark of the video). That's a strange shot, but that's not really what people are talking about when they refer to jump shots.

I was calling for this trade last year after they Philly got swept in the Bubble!! He don't fit with Embid. I'd love him on the Pacers, he can get his free throw percentage back up to a respectable level.
