Re: Xbox One Random Thoughts
Ok but the question has never been PC vs. Console really, PC guys just like to butt into every conversation and post their sick SPECS BRO.
Anyway, as someone with a really good gaming PC and an XB1, I do agree that PS4 is behind the 8 ball right now. Assuming the full game gives us plenty of maps, they desperately need a new innovative title. Of course Naughty Dog is probably coming up with something awesome as we speak.

Re: Xbox One Random Thoughts
If you have your TV mounted to the wall with no shelves available, what do you do with the Kinect camera?
Also, how long is the cable that runs from the camera to the Xbox One?
I've got a somewhat unique theater setup so I'm not sure if the XB1 is feasible for my room."I had to take her down like Chris Brown."

Also, honestly depending on how into the kinect you are, you could probably just set it on the ground. It would still recognize voice commands and stuff like that.

Re: Xbox One Random Thoughts
Doesn't sound like it will work unfortunately. They way I've got my basement set up, the components are all in another room on the other side of the wall. I like not having any visible wires or components. And the LED tv's are pretty thin. I don't think I'd be able to set the Kinect on top of them. And the 3 ft cord length wouldn't be enough. I'd need at least double that and probably more. I'm probably out of luck.

Have you checked if they sell extenders? Could run the kinect cord through the wall and build a dedicated shelf above?

Truthfully, I didn't even think about putting it under the TV as Hicks suggested, a 3 ft cable may just reach if it were there."I had to take her down like Chris Brown."

Re: Xbox One Random Thoughts
There is the hillbilly route. You could always get two cables and splice them together.
But the xbox site says the cord in the box is supposed to be 9ft.“Just because you're offended, doesn't mean you're right.” ― Ricky Gervais.Comment

Re: Xbox One Random Thoughts
It could be that long, I honestly didn't think about it because my XB1 sits on the furniture that my TV hangs above with speakers on either side.

Yeah it seems I'm way wrong. Like I said I didn't even unwrap mine much, just ran behind the furniture right next to my XB1, so it travels maybe 8 inches.
