The fact that it takes an hour to install, update, and enjoy your brand new $60 game is pretty annoying.

I got the xbox one for Christmas. Couldn't play for a full day since it was installing the digital AC Unity and Black Flag. Took an entire day. Then Unity had an asinine 3 gig update. Took another day! And I have great internet speed.

All I can say is next gen my ***.

The Xbox one is wack. U know why? U still gotta buy batteries for the controller! Wtf were they thinking?! The ps3 had rechargeable controllers. Big fail. Theres more problems with the Xbox one, but I think that's the biggest problem

I really hate the Xbox one interface. It's a pain trying to ask someone to join a party. On the 360 it was like 2 or 3 clicks and party time and game invites. Now I have to click like 5+ times. It's just convoluted and annoying to me.

It also doesn't completely exit out of games when you shut off the xbox one, and there are times after booting up where I'm trying to get in to play where nothing happens. I then have to turn off my xbox and unplug it for it to really turn off. I turn it back on to find that the game needed an update. Seriously Microsoft, get your act together.

The other thing that annoys the crap out of me is not being able to skip cut scenes. Far Cry 4 has a seriously long intro and you can't skip it. Can't skip cut scenes in Destiny despite having to replay certain missions over and over and over.

I mean, this is next gen, right? I feel like I should have just skipped this generation completely. Not impressed so far.

Having a really weird XBONE problem. Trying to buy a game, but every time it tries to recover my payment information it fails and gives me a different error code. I also can't look at my stored payment info under settings. Anyone ever had this issue before? Only thing I have saved right now is my paypal and I believe one credit card, but I can't get it to load. And like I said the error code is different every time. Really annoying. I JUST WANT TO GIVE YOU SOME MONEYZ XBONE WHY YOU NO LOVE ME. Hopefully it's just a temp issue, but it's annoying.

I also can't get on to the online xbox live site, it is running like **** today.

I'm not 100% positive if this is true or where I read it, but I'm remember hearing that the NFL's new Directv deal includes an option for a stand alone Sunday Ticket package. I would think the NBA would be exploring something like this too. Silver seems like he wants to make as much off digital media as possible. They would have a huge market.

NBA is already there with nba league pass broadband, it'd be nice to have that option for NFL that's mainly why I have directv

I can never cut cable. I just like always knowing I can watch the Colts and Pacers whenever they are on, as well as other NFL and NBA games. We don't watch a ton of TV shows but I still doubt we could ever go without.

I don't have my sensor plugged in. I tried it at first and put it up somewhere. It does nothing that I really need.

I did not think I would use the Kinect much either, but it really grew on me especially when using the tv function. Once they set it up to allow the X1 to boot up to TV automatically it become really useful. I am just dreading the call to Microsoft support because I am sure it just needs replaced.

At least the Colts games all are on local TVs so a nice digital antenna will get you their games. It would suck to lose the Pacers since they are not on locally, but I do not know if keeping cable to just watch Pacers game is worth the $100 a month.

I could see eventually NFL and NBA coming with streaming services as well.

Have you cut cable to go along with your Netflix? My wife and I have do not watch it as much, but we still have cable so we end up just watching movies from time to time, but really are seriosuly cutting the cord so I think Netflix would be fantastic with all the shows on there.

Hulu is pretty good because a lot of TV shows end up coming on there after they air live. The commercials drive me nuts given it is supposed to be the premium version, but then again regular Hulu really only gives segments from what I remember.

Anyone have this issue with their Kinect? My kinect just randomly shuts off and will not wake up. I can unplug it and plug it back in and it will come up, but after awhile it just shuts off. I tried the reset option on X1 support, but it did it to me again. I really drea calling Microsoft support, but I think that is my only option now.

Aside from the dearth of Pacer games, between Netflix/Hulu/Amazon/TV Antenna, my wife and I have no reason to ever pay for cable...











Unless everyone ditches cable and the system collapses...

HULU is like a less fun version of netflix, centered around TV instead of movies. The ads are annoying as ****

X1 offers a free three month trial of Hulu which I'm currently on. not a big tv person but I'm enjoying re watching old seasons of survivor

the ads bother me a great deal

I have Netflix. Is Hulu worth it too? We really don't watch Netflix much anymore so I'm thinking about canceling it until the next season of House of Cards.
