But something changed. Obviously there were the rumors surrounding his girlfriend. I believed those at the time, now I'm not so sure, but I do believe something happened that turned Hibbert from a team mate oriented player to a guy who was unhappy to be here. I never thought Hibbert was a cancer in the ******* sense, but he was a cancer in the extremely unhappy to be a Pacer sense, and for about 1 1/2 years he drug down everyone else around him (though there may have been a very good reason for that).
Yeah, I remember a young Hibbert participating on a flash mob at BLF with a bunch of fans and I also remember him inviting fans to hang out with him over twitter. I agree that something changed around that time. I don't know what it was and we will probably never know what it was but I do know one thing. All those twitter messages that told him to "go die" when he was playing his absolute worst didn't help the situation at all. It was an extremely low point for our community. I hope that we never treat another Pacer like that.

Why is this happening? I'm sorry but Roy cannot be this bad. I realize he's slow and that the league figured him out, but something else has to be going on.

Over two games, Roy scores 6 points on 2-7 shooting in 44 minutes with 4 rebounds and 3 blocks. Enes Kanter (backup C) scored 35 points on 16-25 shooting in 44 minutes with 25 rebounds and 3 blocks. That is ridiculous. Steven Adams, their other C, scored 16 points on 7-9 shooting in 48 minutes with 14 rebounds and 2 blocks.

I'm so glad I'm not on Twitter! The personal attacks are just disgusting. Posting negative comments about Hibbert's play on a Pacer's blog is one thing, but sending messages telling someone to die is just total BS.

Twitter can't be attributed to the pacers digest community. That's a different level of trolling.

Anybody who trolls or attacks to that extent is flat out not a good human being. Period.

It happened here too. It is what is is -- he is what he is. It's not a complete surprise to see numbers like that.

Oh, I agree. I wasn't attributing that to our PD community. I was talking about the Pacers community in general and not about here.

Back to Roy. He is performing under his career averages in just about everything. Next year he starts his new career as a 10 minute a game backup.

I think the Staples Center is looking to hire a janitor. He's too tall to be a cab driver anyway.

Kobe Bryant to Roy Hibbert: 'Come on m***** f*****... I believe in you!'

                            Kobe is apparently getting senile.

At least he'll be employed the USA.

No worries. CJ isn't going to have a problem fitting in a cab.
