Penix's turnovers are completely screwing up how the team is built to win. Last year we were 10th in the country in turnover margin, this year we are like around 100th or something.

Allen is sticking with him which doesn't surprise me, he's built the program on culture so he's not going to dump the kid, but damn it sucks to see what the constant big injuries have done to him at the moment. He's just not comfortable in the pocket.

Penix needs eased back into the lineup WHEN HE SHOWS HE'S READY. He's clearly not ready mentally... hard to say about physically.
IU isn't at a point they can win with turnovers, or risk trying.
He does not look confident at all.

that's true. the defense actually wasn't that bad. the offense though was a hot mess. penix was as rusty as you could get

IU soccer lost in heart breaking fashion in OT last night. Kinda their own fault, they should have been up 2 or 3 goals at half time probably but failed to put the chances away and then played pretty uninspired soccer in the second half.

Woooow huge commitment today, transfer form South Florida named Michael Durr, averaged 9 PPG and 8 RPG last year. He's a 7 footer who people thought was going to transfer to Va Tech. He's got two years of eligibility left. He should be a really nice bench piece and now IU should be able to run 4 out 1 in lineups the entire game and still keep TJD fresh.

yeh, this is a good pickup. we've been needing size badly.
