The battery life on the controller is much better. I just now switched the batteries out that came with the system.

And that was only because rumble was shut off, I assume due to lower battery, it wasn't like the controller was dying. I just wanted rumble back, because it felt odd without it.

So I got one for Xmas. Just put in 2k14 disc and it is trying to install but has been stuck at 0% for like 10 minutes, am I doing something wrong?

Finally started installing but kind of silly that it is this slow off a disc.

Nearly two hours later I am stuck on 99% now for installation from a disc. This is unbelievable.

That's what happened to me with the first installs but after each one now it seems to take less and less time, idk what dictates the speed of the install. Seems odd that it would take that long to install a physical copy of a game.

Yeah the installs take a lot longer than I thought they would. I figured they would be a lot faster installing. I got Battlefield 4 for Christmas and a gift card to go get 2K14 tomorrow.

Used Skype today with our brother-in-law in Afghanistan. The kinect is so much better and I love how it tracks people.

Hope everyone got the 10k VC with the locker code that came out a day or two ago. I was able to max out my 3pt shot and dunking.

The update pretty much damaged any save files most users had. If you create a new profile all modes should be working fine. They need to delete the last update via a patch. If you call Microsoft they will give you a refund. GameStop is also doing returns

MyCareer is now ****ed up. Never had any of the reported problems before this morning, but as of today I can't load my myCareer save; it has ****** ******* where my first and last name used to be on the initial loading screen, and then it just crashes to the dashboard.

Way to ****ing go, 2K Sports. What a mess.

Wait, if I call Microsoft I can get a refund for digitally buying the game? How does that work, exactly?

Bought this system the day after Christmas, and I have to say that I feel pretty underwhelmed by it, to say the least. I got 2K14, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Battlefield 4, and LEGO Marvel Superheroes. So far, 2K has been absolute garbage -- I literally haven't been able to start a single game, even trying Quick Game -- and COD:G has been a lot of fun, though the aiming mechanism seems a little off. I will say that I've never played any of the previous COD games so maybe it's just an adjustment that I need to make, but that part of the game has been really frustrating. I haven't tried Battlefield or the LEGO game yet. Has anyone else?

I've had the same frustration with installing games. 2K14 probably took at least an hour, and COD took around 45 minutes, after being stuck on 1% for like 20 minutes right away. I'm hoping Microsoft gets their ***** together and releases multiple patches to correct the problems I've been having so far. I have no faith that 2K is going to fix their hot mess of a game. *sigh* If only NBA Live wasn't terrible.

ALSO!:It's incredibly frustrating that features such as SkyDrive and Skype require a Gold membership to use. They're free services (well, you have to own a computer to use them) on every other device, but with the Xbox you have to pay $60 a year to use them. Severely disappointing.

You call Microsoft and tell them the game doesn't work nd you want a refund. They are aware of the problem as 2k has Admitted the game is broke
