The Year 20X6
It was a mistake. A hideous mistake. When the Alliance started to imprinting animal DNA onto people, everything seemed fine. Women got cu little cat tails they could accessorize with (and the claws did wonders for many people's sex lives) and men used the imprints more for athletic enhancement. Basketball players started using giraffe DNA; they had to raise the rim to 14 feet tall! Soccer players preferred kangaroos and the leg strength they provided.
But then the military got involved. They needed more aggressive soldiers. Ones with a killer instinct and a nose for battle. They tried lions but they spend most of their day lying around really, the manes were a hit though. Sharks were too aggressive, people imprinted weren't able to stop the shark DNA from taking over. But wolves, oh the wolves...
Wolves worked well in a pack or alone, they were quick, had great senses of smell and it just seemed to fit, what with the werewolf tales of yore. Men and women imprinted seemed to be able control the aggression so that they could lead normal lives. The Alliance was able to defeat their enemies; they called them the Turncoats, we freedom fighters just called ourselves the Coats. They defeated us, and they defeated the colonists on the outer systems. They controlled all of the habitable planets.
And then it came, the uprising. All of the wolves, or prints, as they were called (all of the other imprints had stopped as a means to end the Coats efforts) turned on their Alliance leaders. Their numbers were too great, the Alliance had overestimated their loyalty. The prints showed more aggression than previously thought. They killed anyone on the central planets who wasn't a print and ate them to boot.
We were safer on the outer planets, especially Digestopolis. We had no contact with Alliance planets because I've been on the run. Myself and my crew are the only ones on this moon. It's in a cloud of electromagnetic noise, undetectable by most ships' radar systems. But there have been rumblings as of late. People have seen shadows in the night, people gathering after curfew with perhaps terrible plans.
I hope prints haven't infiltrated my crew, but I fear the worst. There is some hope though. We have two androids to help us out. We have one “Guardian Angel” who can protect one crewmember at night, and a “Seer” who can tell if people have a wolf print. They were the only reasons us Coats lasted as long as we did against the prints. We're more like a family than a small town here. I'd hate for anything to happen to them:

I'm Pig Nash. This is my moon, hell if anyone's gonna take it from me. It's night now, we'll see how the situation plays out by the morning.
[ooc]If you have not received a pm, you're a human. Here's how the game works in case you're not clear yet. At “night” wolves, the seer, and the angel will pm me their choices to kill, see, and protect. Once they do, I'll post a story in the “morning” explaining the outcome. Then we will vote to lynch one crewmember in the “day.” Majority rule, and you may only change your vote once during a round.
The wolves are trying to outnumber the humans, the humans are trying to kill all the wolves. Good luck![/ooc]
