Or at least he was entertaining a lot of people and probably not his current base to be quite honest.

But really, we might find some horrendous gaffes by Biden in the coming debates. The man can barely go off a teleprompter right now. If he has to think on his feet, it might get embarrassing.

Now, if you hate Trump enough you won't notice this stuff. But many people will.
Oh, no. You can do both at the same time. Biden's lapses are epic and painful. If he somehow manages to win despite himself, we'd move from something like:

    Trump - sexist 10 / racist 10 / awkwardness 10 / empathy 0 / social justice 0 / mental state 0

    Biden - sexist 7 / racist 7 / awkwardness 10 / empathy 7 / social justice 4 / mental state 3

So it's an improvement, but nothing to write home about. If Biden pulls it out, then has to be retired due to the dementia prompting somebody like a Kamala Harris promotion, then things would get fun.

Yeh, that would be fun. She's already more than implied that Biden is a racist. She's also about as likeable as Elizabeth Warren.

There are worse people IMO than Kamala Harris though. Susan Rice or Gretchen Whitmer would actually be considerably worse. If either one of those two became President you have no idea what the Tea Party crowd would do. You think you've seen protests by the left. It would be massive.

Seriously, Biden has a tough job. I bet he was going to pick Klobuchar until her police officer killed George Floyd. I am almost certain that was his plan because prior to that he was talking down picking a black woman. Now, I could see him picking Harris or Val Deming who I think are about the same. Val Deming isn't as hateful though from what I know.

At this point Biden could easily pick Condoleezza Rice. He'd be a shoe in with that pick. You'd republican's crossing over in droves just for the chance to have her take over in a year or two.

That would be enough to beat Trump IMO....but it's highly unlikely IMO. People should know that many Republicans do not like Trump. He only got elected because so many people hated Hillary.

I think people forget when he won the nomination that all kinds of Republicans truly wanted to stop him but they couldn't. Mitt Romney and John Kasich were just a couple of them.

A+ for creativity! Don't know how realistic, but it would definitely spice things up.

Back to Georgia. Cases are rising and deaths are dropping. If you look at the 7 day moving average for deaths, it has continued on a downward slope since April 29th, almost 2 months ago. They are wide open and doing fine.

MSM was talking about Florida blowing up, but I just looked at the charts. Florida is huge and only has maybe 20% more deaths than Indiana. It's just not bad and deaths have been dropping for nearly a month.

The politics and lying around this issue is ridiculous. Why do they rooting for the virus?

Looked at California and Arizona since they are supposed to be hot spots. California has a steady death rate and Arizona's is actually dropping. Arizona has far less deaths for its population yet the media makes it sound like it's the apocalypse down there.

Also, numbers look interesting. In California, 56% of the cases are in the Latino community. The next group are whites at 17%. I have a hard time believing that. I realize CA has a lot of Hispanics, but whites are still a majority...or more specifically there are more whites than any other race by 50% or so. Yet there are 3 times as many Hispanics with the virus.

I bet the media will go nuts by September as the election starts getting closer. I have never in my life seen so many outlets attack a presidential candidate, from cable to broadcast to internet companies. The entire system is against Trump.

I guess you have to believe in the explanation in order to understand the numbers in California. It is called white privilege. Better social economic success over generations equals better overall access to health care and preventative measures like say not working in a meat process plant or in the case of California on a citrus farm or avocado farm.

I think it may well be that it's due to people living in more densely populated living conditions. That's why it blew up in New York and NJ where it's about 4 times more densely populated than anywhere else in the country.

Also, as for me, I didn't get much of that ole white privilege with my dad and mom living on the street when they were teenagers, me never having grand parents, my dad being a mixed race...and me having only disabled children. IOW, it's tough all over. At the same time, I don't whine like a baby because life is oh so hard.

I'll have to go back and look at the numbers but I believe we just passed the one week mark since we have transported a Covid-19 positive patient. Somehow Indiana managed to skirt past both the initial surge and the new onslaught. Not out of the wood though as Ohio and Kentucky are hotbeds so I would think that will creep over to here.

With all due respect, I don't think you understand what white privilege is.

I think you misunderstood my intent. I'm not denying that exists and I understand what it is. I think I will PM you rather than go off topic in this thread.

I think Hispanic population and white population in California are very close (like mid 30% each). Hispanic/Latino might even be a smidge more. This is distinguishing between whites and non-Hispanic whites. In other words, identifying Hispanic/Latino population as an ethnicity since it's a multi-racial group.

It's so terribly unfair that the media gangs up on Trump with no good reason.
