Not to bum anyone out but my 30 comes with the history of saying 34 for last year, so maybe I'm shooting under by 2-3. We had a lot of "homers" in last years thread based on the high predictions.

Looking at the predictions this year it's like the rough times are slowly starting to sink in for people. To get a more realistic look consider the OKC team. Rush, Hibbert, Granger, yes they are nice. But that team has Durant, Green, Mason and Westbrook and do any of you expect 38-40 wins from them?

Hmmm... tough one... I think the season will be a lot more entertaining this year and I think we are going to enjoy watching our team play again. Still I expect our rookies to hit the rookiewall and especially Roy to get called for a lot of (rookie/fake)fouls, while our interior defense won't be much of a strength yet. We upgraded our backcourt quite nicely though and I'm feeling nice with our Centers considering I'm not expecting that much from them, except to work hard and perform to their (growing in Roy's case) abilities.

I expect our perimeter defence to start getting a lot better, especially in the later stages of this year.

Longterm I think we will definitely go up, for now though I'm saying an entertaining season and something like 38 wins.

Been saying 44-38 all off-season and I see no reason to change that prediction now that the season is about to begin. I hope I'm wrong for the better.

I'm saying 40.

I'm optimistic. Although we are like the ex-Sonics in that we'll be leaning on our youngsters a lot, we also have a group of wily veterans. Jack, Rasho, Foster, Murphy, Dunleavy and especially Daniels are solid guys for us that won't raise any eyebrows around the league. I'm very high on Quis this year. I think he has a career year, playing for his contract.
