Even with the Warriors stint heโ€™s still a top 25 player of all time

We talking about the guy that averaged 31 points on 55%?
Russ and Harden were trash that series

No one should be shocked by Boston handling this series. I thought KD would ignite for 1-2 wins, but otherwise the Nets suck, just as I said they did. Kyrie is so immensely overrated.

I highly doubt Simmons will play game 4. The NETS are crazy if they allow him to. If he plays and falls on his face, he may never play again

If Simmons plays and he sucks he'll probably be in counceling the rest of his contract before he laces them up again.

Brooklyn Nets continue to wait and see on Ben Simmons' availability (espn.com)

"I have no idea," Nash said after Sunday's practice, when asked if he thought Simmons would play Monday.
So, coach doesn't have a clue - 24 hours before an elimination game for a supposed 'superpower' team.

AND they already seem to be setting it up for him not playing:

Nash was asked whether he thought it was fair to put Simmons in that type of situation in his first game.

"That's a good question," Nash said. "Part of the decision has to be Ben's. I think that he has to be all-in. And so that is a part of the equation, that's fair. It's not all on Ben. It's not like, 'Ah, come on, you didn't play Ben.' This is a unique situation. He's never played with his teammates. And to go into a playoff situation after a long period of inactivity and injury is not straightforward.

"So there shouldn't be any conclusion made either way whether he plays, doesn't play. Plays well, doesn't play well. Affects the team positively, negatively, all that stuff is possible, and it's not fair to create a narrative out of it. This is just the position we're in. And like all these other variables we've faced this year, let's face them the best we can and let's keep moving forward."
Would love to see the Nets getting beat, late in the 4th and Nash tell Ben to get in the game. He never would - simply because they're all kissing his butt over this whole thing, but it would be worth a chuckle. ANd he's still got 3 years at over $110 mill to go. Yeah - good luck with that.

                      EDIT: He bailed. "Back soreness".

Ben Simmons awoke with back soreness on Sunday, sources told ESPN, and the Nets agreed he'll remain out for Monday's Game 4.

as hilarious/inevitable as all this is, Monday with Simmons playing would have been the only Must-See Moment for me this playoffs
