The two biggest flaws with this team is a lack of health at the wing position, causing Holiday and Lamb to take on bigger roles than they should, and playing a true SG as a PG. If we could upgrade the PG position and our health, I think the Lamb, Holiday, and McConnell situations would solve themselves.
Imo Lamb is actually pretty dang good, but just like Dunleavy in 2010, we don't have 4 years to wait for him to get 100%

It was a nice effort but you can't expect to beat (checks roster) ...Gordon Hayward and Mason Plumlee on their home court

I wouldn't be too harsh on Carlisle, it is his first game with this team, he is still learning how to coach them. I kind of wonder if letting the team play during the 24-0 run without any real changes may have been an experiment to see how the players handle it.

Sure looks like Gordon's got a little left in the tank!

There was a lot about tonight that seemed to be experimentation.

And I do actually believe that, albeit not as much as really want to believe it.

Dare I mention that Turbonis racked up 10 of our 16 turnovers?

At a certain point I was hoping to see Wannamaker. Our two point guards were getting destroyed on defense, and one of them can't run an offense.

I was pretty high on the team when we were up 23.

Sabonis was looking unstoppable most of the game. He's freakin good. At scoring and rebounding anyway.

I’m not judging by what either team can potentially be. Just going by this game I thought we looked good. Sure we can improve on a lot outside of just getting back our injured players. But at least everybody was engaged, giving effort, weren’t playing like they hated each other, were unselfish, played way better defense than last season (with much improvement needed still), and we got to see Duarte get loose out there. At least everything that went bad is fixable.
