He called timeouts after successive buckets in the first half, and then, well, we all saw what happened.

In this case I will say we probably would have blown them out if we had one of our injured players, because they are exactly what we needed during that scoring drought. I’m not mad at all. Overall I really thought we looked good.

If healthy that 24-0 run never happens, unfortunately, we have to say that often...

We don’t have anyone that can stop a scoring run or hit a game winning shot. We haven’t had one since Vic got injured.

The only chance we have this season is if Duarte develops quickly into a clutch player, otherwise we have virtually no chance at making the playoffs.

I don’t even want to think about how this game would’ve gone if we didn’t have three players with nearly 30 points a piece.

And that was a hideous 28 point showing for Brogdon. 8/20 from the field and 3/10 from deep. That third quarter needs to be erased from history.

I would have almost preferred Duarte shoot the final shot. Setting Domas up for a physical post-up match outside the paint with 2 seconds left is not a recipe for success in that amount of time.
I think KP is a Captain Planet fan. He believes that the collective will of five decent starters can outweigh the power of top-level talent. Too bad Herb won't cut the check for their Planeteer rings.

also i guess im just a weirdo, but 100% im giving that shot to duarte. if he hits it, god status. if he misses it, we still all feel better about the loss that the team had the cojones to give it to the dude who appears to have huge cojones.

Yeah I wish we could have had that Simmons trade… too many slow defenders to ever really put defensive pressure anywhere other than at the basket… and only when Myles is in…

1st game of the season, there will be adjustments but what a silly decision to extend our slowness for an additional 2 years.

This feels like this loss is on Rick. We had 3 guys straight ball out tonight and lost. Literally a historic rookie performance. The timeout at the end was lame when we had been doing just fine. That killed our momentum and we drew up a deep three?

                    No Jackson?

Turner spent way too much time on the bench and this is coming from a guy who is not a Turner fan. (Admittedly I didn’t watch 3rd quarter but I saw others saying he didn’t play the whole quarter while they dominated us on offense? Wtf!!)

Duarte had a shot in the corner. I wanted Sabo to give it to him so bad. That would have been one for the ages if he downed it.

I want to agree with you, but how good could we really have looked losing to the Charlotte Hornets? They're like an 8th seed at best.

We just need coaching adjustments so we don’t have to be in those situations as much… I was waiting for Duarte to get a shot, thought Brogdan would have passed it to him, seeing he was 6-9… but the selfishness was unreal!

among fans for sure, but in coaching circles i really dont know. not sure how many coaches if any give it to duarte there. but i think they almost all should.
