Deandre Ayton said at media day that he and head coach Monty havnt spoken since game 7 against Dallas. Five months.
When can he be traded to Indy he does not look like he wants to be there at all.
And TJ Warren said he’s not cleared to play yet.

I would really like to see him come back and succeed; I like his game and I hate when injuries derail a promising career, but seriously...does a bear **** in the woods? I'm surprised he even felt the need to offer that.

Everybody was crapping on the Pacers for offering the deal and not really having a chance to get him because “of course the Suns would match.” But what about the Suns not taking whatever the Pacers were offering in a S & T and instead signing a guy to a max contract that looks like he could torpedo their season? Shouldn’t they be taking some heat? That could end up being a really bad decision. What if he is a malcontent all season. Could he become a negative contract that they have to “unload” next summer?

If so, I hope it's not here. The Pacers seems to have a nice, solid, young, good-natured core that they're building. Let's not F that up.

Guy will have missed more than 2 full seasons before he ever steps on the court again. If he even does. He is just broken. He is not a bad guy, so would've liked to seen him actually do something useful for the 24 million he got payed last 2 seasons, even if he was not the second coming of KD like Pritchard wanted us to believe.
