They don't have wimps down under ?? No weak-minded, spoiled kids ??

Simmons gave up because he was rightfully criticized. His feelings got hurt. And he reacted like a whiny little kid. Wah-wah-wah - I'm not going to play with you guys anymore because you hurt my feewings. Hell - he even said that his mental state didn't allow him to play. What else do you want ?? Goooooooooooood luck Brooklyn.

With that said the cowards of Sacramento should have given me a job to tell them Bagley was going to be a bust lol
I had the misfortune of drafting Bamba round 1 in my keeper league 4 years ago, and so have had to watch his pathetic azz all this time...he's maybe a slightly better Goga...if he can't stand out on that terrible ORL team, he's not long for this league...and he looks way worse in person than his numbers imply.

Bagley might still be a bust.

Yeah, more importantly sports in the USA have never been more competitive. The idea of participation and not hurt feelings is just a scam dreamed up by grumpy, old, white men who want something to ***** about. There's a reason why the sports records grumpy, old, white dude set 40 years ago have all been shattered time and time again, and it's not because everyone gets a trophy or the younger generations are soft.

Also, all Australians are BAMF who drink a lot, say "barbie," and are always up for a good time! However, most of them would rather face a googly than play basketball.

Yeah, but ask them to face a bodyline attack and they whine about unsportsmanlike conduct and get the rules changed

Well, that's because the leagues involved are manipulating the rules to facilitate offensive production under the mistaken notion that points = entertainment, but that's not the players' fault I suppose. That said, as a member of the younger generation, even I wouldn't argue that we're not (generally) softer than the old heads. The world is just a much different place.

Re: Australia, like Canada they've gone from rugged hardmen to latte-sipping hipsters in basically one generation. They're the Canadians of the antipodes.

The NRL banned even banned the shoulder charge in 2015. Which means a lot of these are no longer legal : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqgG...channel=Connor

I'm not sure where to start with all this but a spirited defence of bodyline combined with the besmirching of latte consumption feels like fighting words.

Celtics run has been pretty impressive.

I swear almost every time I look at the national TV schedule, it’s the slimy Nets playing.

Also way too many Knicks games as usual.

The worst thing about the NBA media is their outright obsession with underachieving New York teams.

Today's trophy-getting, latte sipping pussies! When I was a kid we ran slowly, were malnourished, spread pesticides with no masks, worked with asbestos, and had lead in our drinking water! It made us tough, and gave us Parkinsons.
