Yep. A pick in that range unless you get lucky is almost a negative, since you're stuck with the guy. Better to explore undrafted prospects or a 2nd rounder & let them work to earn a spot.

Detroit’s front office is run by a bunch of clowns if this is true

“Rumor has it that the Thunder offered the No. 6 pick and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in exchange for No. 1 -- the Pistons declined.”

I wouldn't do it. I value SGA, but Cade is better when compared to SGA at the same age. I know you hate Cunningham, but you can't ignore he's already a 3 level scorer that works great in the pick and roll, and has a lot of size. At his age, that doesn't happen very often coming into the draft. Even if he is athletically limited (for now), he has every other tool already basically.

I think he may have said that he could turn out to be the best scorer in this draft. Trey Murphy may be the true 3&D wing that i've been looking for the pacers to finally get. He's tall, athletic and a knock down 3 point shooter. He will probably eventually be able to guard positions 1 thru 4.
Lol not much of a specialist IMO. Have you even seen the trash Thomas puts up? My word, his *** would have been on the bench in any other generation. I really do not understand the fascination for players like him. And yikes at Murphy as well. James Jones had a long, serviceable career, but you don't draft a player with his ceiling in the lotto.

The Knicks offered picks Nos. 19 and 21 to the Warriors for their No. 14 pick, per @NBADraftWass

            The Warriors rejected.

Not surprised. Dubs are going to use that #14 as part of a trade package to bring back a good player. Turning it into the 19 & 21 does nothing for them.

              Us however?

If they discussed that with GS, they have or will almost certainly offer it to us.

Have you watched any of Rashad Phillips draft videos? This guy will give you a deep take on a second round pick. He predicted that Daniel Gafford would be a quality center in the NBA. I get tired of hearing that Jalen Suggs will be the best floor general or Bouknight will be the best scorer. I want to know who is the next Gilbert Arenas or Ben Wallace.

Murphy would be a good pick if we moved down. His athleticism is light years ahead of James Jones lol.

Cam Thomas is a 3 level scorer. There's always going to be a fascination with these types of players, espicially now in the NBA when teams are averaging over 110 ppg. He knows how to score and he knows how to get to the line.

I'm waiting for the inevitable "Knicks offered 19 and 20 to the pacers for 13 and the Pacers accepted".

                  Honestly....I maybe ok with that.

If you're the Pacers, you do it on draft night once the 9th or 10th pick rolls in, so you can be sure nothing crazy happens like Kuminga or Barnes falling to you somehow. Or really, whoever's at the top of their board of that's Giddey, Bouknight whomever.

You dial em up as soon as you hear Slim Silvery say "the Charlotte Hornets select..."

This is based off of the assumption that the Pacers r super intent on trading down, there is some players that they want at 19 and 20 and they get back some minor asset in return.

Go look at previous draft posts on here... I too talked about Gafford and said I would target him in the late 1st. Yes, for whatever reason there is a fascination for trash basketball right now and that's what Cam Thomas plays. His shots are pure garbage and all he cares about his getting his. Murphy is more of a team guy, but is fairly stiff and truly would only be good for standing still at the corner 3. I'm just not into drafting Jared Dudley's or James Jones' anywhere near the 1st.
