    Grizzlies Pelicans trade

    Jonas, 17 to NOP

    Bledsoe, Adams, 10 to Memphis

So guessing New Orleans no longer an option for Myles

        Bledsoe & Adams + 10?

God grief. A swap of the 10 for 17 and Memphis takes on two wastes of space?? I have no interest in the leftover mayonnaise-in-the-sun creature that is Bledsoe-Adams. If that's what we would've gotten for Turner, we dodged a bullet. Bledsoe is more over than the Golden Girls and Adams value is so negative that you'd have to drill deep in to the crust of the earth to find it. I'll keep Turner instead. And that's saying a lot. This is an AWFUL trade for Memphis.

I hope Kispert really didn't impress our scouts and that we are not just blowing smoke in hopes that he doesn't get picked before 13.

Cam Thomas is interesting. I follow a guy Rashad Phillips on Twitter. Some of you may have heard him. He supposedly a NCAA/NBA prospect specialist. I seen him on fox sports a couple years ago talking about the draft. He knows his stuff and he is high on Cam Thomas. I think he may have said that he could turn out to be the best scorer in this draft. Trey Murphy may be the true 3&D wing that i've been looking for the pacers to finally get. He's tall, athletic and a knock down 3 point shooter. He will probably eventually be able to guard positions 1 thru 4.

I think they want Lowry, and I think they hope he can have a Chris Paul type effect on Zion and Brandon Ingram, similar to how Paul did for Booker and DeAndre Ayton. Lowry and Valanciunas played 6.5 years together in Toronto.

                    Interesting.

Eric Bledsoe, who New Orleans included in a trade package, is not expected to stay in Memphis, league sources tell

Pels going for a top Free agent. This trade shaved off $21 mil in cap space and all it cost was 7 draft spots in a super deep draft

I find it very unlikely Bledsoe goes anywhere other than Memphis.

Memphis just did what I advocated we should, if we were smart enough to recognize we're in no position to contend. That is, buy up guys with negative value and accumulate picks as compensation. However, I'm shocked all they got was moving up an incidental 7 spots + a protected 1st from a team likely to be a top 5 club next year (Lakers pick).

No one's taking Bledsoe off their hands. Not unless Memphis wants to give back some of that draft capital. Anyways, it would be pointless for them to pay a team to take him--Adams is already a lead weight & they're clearly banking on a couple years to develop their young guys so why bother? These two will play out their contracts in Memphis and disappear into obscurity.

The Grizzlies better have someone at 10 that they love. They paid a total of $40 mil to move up in the draft and a non-lottery future 1st round pick.

No joke. Pels have robbed the Grizz lol. Very decent chance that the #17 pick ends up being better than whoever goes #10, the players mocked in that range are totally all over the place. Oh, and they got a 1st next year that's probably #28, 29 or 30. Essentially, a 2nd Rd pick that you must automatically guarantee a contract to.

Hope they enjoy the 43mil in nearly useless salary they just purchased.

There's one reason, ONE, for them to do this, and that's if they're going big time shopping in 2023. They better hope someone wants to come play there.

Take a good look, Pacers fans. So they got Ja last year, well done, but Memphis is what a truly awful front office looks like.

One of the Lakers 1st... Not theirs. No big deal there.
