    2014 NCAA Tournament Thread

Going to be a fun tournament to watch as there are no great teams this year. My Final Four: 1 Florida, 4 Michigan State, 1 Arizona, 2 Michigan

I'd be down for a bracket pool.

Anyone else have a little trouble getting up for the tournament when their team isn't in it? It kind of loses some of it's luster. Luckily, I've gotten used to it :/

The Albany-Mount St. Mary's game was surprisingly entertaining for a play in game between two 16 seeds.

I have now watched two UAlbany games in the past week. A third is inevitable. Their jerseys are so horrid that this may be the first time (Indiana not included) that I will be rooting for the 1 seed against the 16 seed.

Sad that Stainbrook is not the same since his injury. That team was playing great basketball before he went down. Justin Martin really started to play good basketball. Stainbrook is their difference maker though they needed him healthier.

Iowa/Tennessee game had a 6 point swing tonight. That's pretty damn weird, haven't heard about any injuries/suspensions or anything.

Fran's son is having surgery for cancer maybe it was announced he won't be coaching. I didn't read it anywhere, but I assume he won't be there most of the day his sons surgery is in Iowa tomorrow morning.

Iowa head coach Fran McCaffery has a lot on his plate on Wednesday. Not only do his Hawkeyes square off with Tennessee in the NCAA tournament in Dayton, Ohio, McCaffery’s 13-year old son Patrick will have surgery to remove a thyroid tumor just hours before tip off.

Yes, I just saw this article, he won't be at the game and that is the best case scenario. I hope he is coaching the game that means the surgery went well.

Im curious which way was the swing? I could see that helping Iowa. They haven't played inspired ball lately, I could see it help them rally around their coach. Not sure it really changes anything, but that is interesting sports betting is a crazy world.

Iowa went from a 3 point favorite to a 3 point dog. I honestly feel like a dirtbag analyizing it any further now that I know what's going on.

The Ohio State-Dayton game is pretty bad. Neither of these teams are any good at all.
