Their hopes are probably not exactly riding high right now.
Nuntius was right for a while. I was wrong for a while. But ultimately I was right and Frank Vogel has been let go.

not really expecting a win today. just winning a game in the btt is considered a moderate success. anything from here is a pleasant surprise.

I think they just needed 20 wins... The win yesterday getting them to 19 MIGHT'VE done it, but I can't imagine 20 wins and these last 2 not being enough.

IU has now won 8 straight games at the Fieldhouse apparently. Something to keep an eye on

I really think TJD has not been healthy since that Nebraska fall until maybe this week. He looks like he did early in the season, just too quick and physically capable in the core when he gets the ball for anyone to stop.

Also having Galloway and Phinisee back is definitely huge which Woodson said how much they missed them. Makes IU's bench a force to be reckoned with. I hope Geronimo isn't hurt too bad, but it certainly didn't look great.

He was motivating pretty good at the end for the post game celebration, and even during timeouts.
He looked MUCH better than I would've expected seeing him go down. Honestly, you wouldn't have known he'd been injured watching him at the end of the game. Of course, that's one thing... playing tomorrow is an entirely different issue.
But I feel a little better about things seeing him not limping at the end.

once again, hitting foul shots at a respectable rate 76.9% and low turnovers (7) played a big role in winning today.

Things that IU needs to clean up:
Plays out of a timeout. That includes on offense and defense. IU is way too susceptible to giving up some kind of backdoor/layup on an inbounds play. And it seems like IU still can't find a good play on offense out of a timeout. It's like they go to the apparent obvious play that the defense covers, and then IU either tries to still force that play, or else it's a scramble drill with either the secondary option covered as well... or else there is no secondary option.

Completely unexpected! Completely awesome! Completely wrong on my part! Let's go win another.
