    New Member Intro

    I'm new to this board and I'm dying to respond to all the T-Bird posts that are written (logically according to him) to substantiate his points and overall argument. I don't really see much new insight from T-Bird from a basketball point of view and his latest post of 'future storm clouds brewing' based on our latest draft picks is ludicrious. Well, I'm glad to be a member and, hopefully, I can be a counterweight to T-Bird's 'priesthood' status given by some of the members on this board. His opinion is his own and, in my opinion, not very insightful but is counter productive to the extremely hard work being performed by this organization (especially on draft night).

          However, if you're hear to try to show t-bird up or otherwise be disrespectful, you may as well move on right now.

              I don't think anyone would mind an opposing viewpoint to t-bird's, so long as you're respectful about it.

              As an example: Stuff like "logically according to him" will get tiring. It's pretty clear that t-bird's post are extremely well-thought out, no need to insist that his opinion follows some sort of deviant and poor logic. The same goes for the priesthood status thing, and similar little jabs. They're pretty unnecessary and will probably only get in the way of you communicating your opinion effectively.

              Of course I say all this just from the perspective of a somewhat infrequent reader and poster of the main board. I'm clearly not a mod, so nothing I say really carries any weight. Just trying to offer some suggestions and possibly deter future conflict. So long, and see you in the boards.

              (BTW, you need to post once more in here before moving on to the other boards...)

                  Sounds like Pacer35/Smash in a former life.
                  You know how hippos are made out to be sweet and silly, like big cows, but are actually extremely dangerous and can kill you with stunning brutality? The Pacers are the NBA's hippos....Matt Moore CBS Sports....

                      Looking forward to the press conference introducing the newest Pacers. I think it will be on July 10th. Now if Bird can find new homes for JT, Quis, and maybe Williams, then we've had a full flush of the last two miserable years.
