Adrift- Based on the true story of Tami Oldham who was lost at sea for 41 days after a hurricane and survived. I never heard of this story until now. Good movie rather sad though.

I just did. It wasn’t what I was hoping for. I definitely like the one three years ago a lot better. Corny dialogue (which they always have) and not enough dinosaur suspense and violence. Way too much horror film feel to it. It largely centers around a mutant dinosaur that they created, which of course never existed in real life. I wish they would have focused more on the dinosaurs that actually existed millions of years ago instead of something made up.

Still worth seeing in theatres. I’m greatly interested in dinosaurs and there are some cool moments in it, just not what I was waiting three years for.

Decided to watch "Uncle Drew". Imagine if ESPN 30 for 30, the NBA and SneakerHeads decided to sit down and make a Comedy movie. Well, that's what you get when you go see "Uncle Drew". It was a terrible movie to say the least. Oh, and Reggie Miller continued to show his outstanding acting skills. Someone must have seen him flop when he was in the NBA and thought that it was a good idea to put him in makeup and onto the big screen.

Just watched "Wind River". I thought it was a very good movie. I recommend it.

James Gunn fired from Guardians vol3 over controversial tweets from 10 years ago.

Has as it ever occurred to these Hollywood types to just deny those tweets and claim they were photoshopped? I mean it is ridiculously easy to photoshop this stuff. I mean we are just talking screen grabs and retyping what you want and match up the font and sizes.

Everyone knows it was politically movtivated.

Claiming they were faked and photo-shopped would be easily debunked. In this day and age of internet archiving and the reach of Twitter someone would bound to be able to produce the original tweets with something to prove the date. Plus, find people talking about the tweets on other social medial, forums, blog, or even random news report with a way to confirm the date.

If you're going to lie the best bet is always "I don't recall" followed closely by "I was hacked".
"I was hacked" still leaves some doors open but it's harder to disprove... and "I don't recall" is nearly impossibly to crack because who can say what another person remembers? That's why politicians like "I don't recall" when they are testifying or being grilled by media... If other evidence still proves they were involved in something, their "I don't recall" still is plausibly true. It doesn't put a rope around their neck or hand in the cookie jar like admitting to something that may not be able to be proved would.
Nuntius was right for a while. I was wrong for a while. But ultimately I was right and Frank Vogel has been let go.

Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

I generally am not a fan of action movies, but this movie was so well done and Tom Cruz was so good, even I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Mission Impossible was awesome. One of those movies that keeps you engrossed from start to finish. A must see on the big screen.

                                Tomb Raider (2018)

It was okay, nothing above the ordinary.
