"Justice has a bad side," is the tagline of the first trailer for Suicide Squad which has just leaked online after being shown at San Diego Comic-Con, where the director and cast were all in attendance.

Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

The Guest- Pretty decent movie. It was directed by Adam Wingard. I haven't seen any of his other films (VHS and You're Next are a couple). I like his style. It reminded me a lot of what Jim Mickle did in Cold In July. Both of these films feel like John Carpenter movies. The Guest goes a bit over-the-top with the music though. Just a bit. Still worth checking out though.

The Guest and Cold in July both got a bit too ridiculous in their third acts, but good thinking in grouping them, and fun watches overall. It's just cool to see directors taking some of the stylistic risks you see in each of those flicks. A lot of talent there.

Perfectly put. Babadook was pretty good, but reading the reviews prior to watching it, you get the feeling it isgoing to be something amazing. It wasn't that original or that amazing, just a solid movie.

Some people feel that way about The Conjuring. Personally, I think it's a great movie, but not all out scary like I thought it would be. Still just a very well done horror movie and those are hard to find these days.

                  Ant Man

So, before the movie, during the trailers, I was talking about what Star Wars figures I wanted. After the movie, I said I wanted a Thomas the Train.

Chris Stuckman gave Ant Man a pretty glowing review. I'm taking my wife on a dinner and movie date Sat. She loves Paul Rudd, so I'm glad this movie turned out to be decent.
First time in a long time, I've been happy with the team that was constructed, and now they struggle. I blame the coach.

Loved Ant-Man. As a self-contained movie, it's a lot of fun. It also fits nicely in the marvel universe. My only complaint was the villain was just stupid. They give a reason for him to act the way he does, but it doesn't change the fact he isn't remotely memorable. Everything else about the movie? Fantastic. Funny, great action, excellent character development, and takes a ridiculous premise and makes it real, ala Thor or Gurdians of the Galaxy.

It's definitely in my top five marvel movies ever.

Both the mid-crdits and post-credits scenes are worth waiting around for, FYI.

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

Ant Man was very solid. Great 3D effects too.

Wish the villains had more depth though.

In no way were those movies made "real"

Plausible within the parallel Marvel universe based loosely on our own? Sure. But not real.

Saw Trainwreck and Ant man yesterday. Haven't done two movies in one day for eons...

Trainwreck was funny and I'd recommend but it was only about 75% of what it could have been. Great quips and one liners but it didn't fully develop it's characters or plot to draw any actual meaning from it.

Ant man turned out about as good as possible... I wasn't very excited about the movie once Edgar Wright was dropped as director but he still has writing cred and you can tell some of the funniest sections of the movie come from him.

Peter Russo was a very lame villain and the movie succeeds anyway... Kudos to Ant Man for that.
