Re: What movie did you last watch?

It's a comic book movie, anything goes. In the comics the superheroes team up for supervillains but they go their separate ways when it's done. They can't always hang out with each other and do each others' dirty laundry. Just sit back and enjoy the ride. Plus it all makes sense if you've read about the Winter Soldier
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

I finally saw The Hunger Games - Catching Fire. Good flick.

Non-Stop - very typical for this type of movie. For the first 2/3 it was pretty good. Enough good twists and turns to keep you involved in trying to figure out what is going on. But then the final 1/3 of the movie was awful.

          Captain America: The Winter Soldier

MUCH better than the first one. I still liked The Avengers more, but this was surprisingly close.

Captain America: TWS. Utterly fantastic. Easily the 2nd best Marvel movie and possibly better than Avengers IMO. What a great great movie. Great acting and a plot that completely came from left-field, but was immensely satisfying. Loved it.

Just watched a movie I got from Walmart a couple weeks ago. It's called Unstoppable, staring Denzel Washington, and Chris Pine. It's about a runaway train. I liked it so much that today was the third time I've watched it.

I was hoping for I Am Legend style differences with the unrated edition, but the only things "added" were the extended scenes of violence that were cut to make the theatrical release PG-13. I am more interested in reading the source material than the sequels if they get made.

                      Which Muppets?

Is the 2nd Thor movie required viewing in order to get all of Cap. 2? Have not seen either Thor movies.

We watched Anchorman 2 over the weekend. It was funny. Loved Brick's story line the best.

Re: What movie did you last watch?

Thor 2 sucked. It was just Thor getting his *** handed to him the entire movie only to be saved by Jane Foster at the end. What a waste. I thought he was a God?

Captain America 2 was just awesome.
First time in a long time, I've been happy with the team that was constructed, and now they struggle. I blame the coach.

No you don't have to watch Thor to watch Cap 2. I WOULD watch Cap 1 and Avengers though.

Thor 2 sucked, liked the first one. Haven't watched Cap 2 yet, liked the first one also.

I loved the Veronica Mars movie. If you were not a big fan of the series I doubt it would have much impact on you. The original series is in my top 5 TV series of all time though.

Captain America 2 - I'll give Marvel/Disney credit for trying to create this completely integrated universe. It's probably pretty tough. It will certainly go down as the definitive aspect of this current period of making movies. That said, I wish they could make them a little less generic and more stand-alone. This reminded me of Iron Man 2 but with worse villains and less focus. I'm not sure what the Russo brothers contributed (maybe it was the inexplicable Snowden/Manning angle), but when your best asset (Chris Evans) is shoved to the side for even more inane CG explosions, semi-Nazis, or teases for ScarJo's REAL identity, you're a little too concerned about the next Avengers movie over whatever half-hearted attempt at a character piece currently on air. Still, this train is unstoppable now, so I should probably just stop and enjoy the expensive, exposition-heavy show. Not really recommended.

I remember I wanted to see that when it first came out but never did. Is it about 4-5 years old?
