Re: What movie did you last watch?

"Once Upon A Time In The West". Just bought the special edition DVD-version. I have seen this film a few times before, but it never bores me watching it again. And Claudia Cardinale back than? MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM... YUMMMMMIE .

Just bought "Shark Tale", liked it more than "Finding Nemo" (which was ok).

Saw "Saw" this morning, LOVED it . For the horror genre people overhere, I consider it close to a "must see". Good storyline, plot and what I like most some surprising turns. It's not a slasher or something it all and it's not a hardcore horror, but I really liked it.

Nuntius was right for a while. I was wrong for a while. But ultimately I was right and Frank Vogel has been let go.

Shark Tale kicked ***. 100x better than Finding Nemo. Jack Black is a comic genius.

                  I saw forgotten this weekend.

Interesting plot, but they blew it.....

The movie ended somewhat well but it still eaves you wondering, WTF was that?

And how could someone go back to living a normal life after knowing what she knew?

                  oh well....I;d give it a 5 out of 10...

Re: What movie did you last watch?

Last movie I seen was Something the Lord Made

Something the Lord Made recounts the relationship between Dr. Alfred Blalock (Alan Rickman) and Vivian Thomas (Mos Def). It begins in 1930s Nashville when imperious cardiac surgeon Blalock hires Thomas, an African American carpenter, as his janitor. When the latter reveals a passion for medicine and facility with surgical instruments, Blalock promotes him to lab tech. Thomas isn't given a raise, works side jobs to make ends meet, and is expected to be grateful. Along the way, he follows Blalock from Vanderbilt to Johns Hopkins, where they save thousands of lives through their pioneering work, but will Thomas ever get any credit? The film provides a satisfying answer to that question. Joseph Sargent (A Lesson Before Dying) directs with subtlety and intelligence, while Rickman and Mos Def are in top form, often underplaying where most actors would do otherwise. Something the Lord Made won the 2004 Emmy for outstanding made-for-TV movie. --Kathleen C. Fennessy
We don't get HBO in canada so I had to wait till the DVD was out to see it. Well worth the wait.

I also seen "Ray" the other day. Based on the life of Ray Charles, im sure you all know the story now since its been talked about on every single tv program. I wasn't as impressed with the movie as others have been. It was quite boring to be honest, I've seen this story a million times, Drugs, cheat on the wife, success and then at the end they live happily ever after.... Thats his life but i've seen it so many times it was unoriginal. The only highlights of the movie for me was the music and Foxx's performance which was also over hyped.

I've seen all the best actor nominee movies now and theres no doubt I would give it too Don Cheadle for Hotel Rwanda. Unfortunetly because Ray Charles recently passed away and the hype the movie is getting Foxx already has his name written on the trophy.
