If people donated to cancer research instead of buying bright pink nonsense I think we would be in a better place.

why are car dash cams, far as I know, after market on the owner additions? why aren't they being pushed for standard implementation just like headlights or turn signals?

            Re: Random, Scattered Disturbed Thoughts

Weird, yesterday I spent $340.55 on tickets and I was lucky. I grew up as a punk/heavy metal guy and still prefer classic rock but the Mrs. is a big Adele fan. Spent time actually trying to strategize for a chance at tickets and it paid off. No luck on the presale event Wednesday (I had to join her fan club) and spent 3 hours on-line hoping I could get some concert in the US. Was able to come away with two tickets for the Detroit show in September. I'm just pretty stoked because the Mrs. get's the rare opportunity to attend after the show allegedly sold out in 20 minutes everywhere Adele is booked.
You know how hippos are made out to be sweet and silly, like big cows, but are actually extremely dangerous and can kill you with stunning brutality? The Pacers are the NBA's hippos....Matt Moore CBS Sports....

Bodies change as we age and recently reached the purgatory that is a 35" waist with a 33" inseam. Feeling very isolated right now.

A driver accused of collapsing a bridge in the town of Paoli after ignoring weight limit signs will be fined just $135.
I don't get it. That dumb A** really put a hurt on the bridge, but she's only facing a $135 fine ?? Can't they charge her with freakin' stupidity ??

Try having a 48" waist, 30" inseam and to make it worse.....a 44" chest. (a pair on pretzel sticks)

Ha! Not in the shape I used to be in either but comment is more about retail options for clothes. So few options for 35" pants out there and it seems like over the last five years or so companies have been phasing out the 33" inseam as well.

How long will there be news on tv? I see no strong reason for it any more. I can read everything online, including the stories they air on tv hours later.

Also, it makes me mad when they have people reporting live from places. Sometimes it makes sense, when there is an ongoing event. A lot of the time though they're just in front of some building where something happened yesterday. So what? What does that do to enhance the reporting?

Well typically they were there asking questions previously. But yeah there is a lot of stupid stuff that they do. I don't see the news ending any time soon.

I mean I watch the 6am news and they have these poor people standing outside when it is freezing out. They're just there for no apparent reason, at least I assume they weren't talking to people before 6am.

The news stories are posted on facebook or twitter hours before the news airs on tv. I can get weather and traffic immediately whenever I want. There just doesn't seem like a huge reason for there still to be news on tv.

I assume someone will say "well, you are watching it." It is true, but the only other things on the channels I get at 6am are infomercials.

It's bad enough to have the FBI looking into a Ponzi scheme that this guy was 'allegedly' running, BUT - then they find child porn on his 'puter.

                                DOH !!!!!

State Attorney General Bill Schuette says investigators found the child porn on Skupin's laptop while looking into the alleged Ponzi scheme.
