Getting the farm's fine - the problem's when you start to farm it. Or even put a few animals on it and have to feed 'em, clean up their - well, you know - build & fix fence, can't take a trip 'cause you can't find someone to feed 'em.
But the farm itself - the concept of sitting on your back porch, so you can look out and say, "That's MINE" isn't bad. The problem's when you start creating work for yourself.
Or you could thrill her and get an ant farm.
