    Re: Week 9: @ Texans

BTW... IMO that reversed catch was exactly right. You have to finish the reception. Until your body stops sliding, rolling, etc you have to maintain possession and control of the ball. Obviously he was out of bounds with it too so getting control laying out of bounds isn't the same as it never touching the turf on an inbounds reception.
Nuntius was right for a while. I was wrong for a while. But ultimately I was right and Frank Vogel has been let go.

Yeah, as soon as I saw that bobble at the end I knew that was getting reversed. Calvin Johnson had an instance a season or two ago exactly like this one and they reversed that one too. Pags knew it too. He saw it right in front of him and didn't even wait for his booth guys to tell him to throw the red flag.

I wish I could predict lotto numbers this accurately...

I'd be happier about the win but given the circumstances I just hope Gary Kubiak is okay as un PC as it is to say I think that's what the Colts needed to turn this around. The whole episode completely took the crowd out of the game.

Well as un PC as this sounds when Houston trotted the punt team out before the two minute warning, I turned to my wife and said The Texans said Kubiak didn't have a heart attack but they better check again because if he's watching them line up to punt he is now. I also hope Kubiak is OK, but I would have never punted there. Shows you what I know because it worked out for them and they had a chance to tie it at the gun.

That kicker gave us a chance and we took it. Nice comeback

Definitely, part of becoming a good team is knowing when to kick the door down when the other teams leaves it open.

All I kept saying in the 4th Quarter was..."I can't believe we might steal this game". THAT is the definition of stealing one.

It reminds me of multiple ugly games that we stole throughout the Manning years. Great teams find ways to win games that they have no business winning.

For the first half, Luck couldn't do anything. But when he had to make plays at the end, he came through like he always does.

We're so incredibly lucky to have 2 QBs in a row who are special. Just incredibly lucky

Truthfully, it's probably Luck's 4th or 5th most unlikely theft of a game.

He did early on this game but later on he adjusted.

I do think Luck is calmer about things but they are two different personalities so it doesn't really mean much if the result is the same a come from behind regular season win they had no business winning.

However in the end you really can't compare the two (as much as people here and the pundits want to for some inexplicable reason) the teams aren't the same.

As much of a tool as I think Jimbo is most of the time he did something right he made sure the team was built so it doesn't live and die with Andrew Luck(despite the fact that most of our wins live and die with Andrew Luck) like it did with Manning.

That also factors into things. Defense and a Run game actually matter now.

What's up with Fleener's "jazz hands" celebration? Did I miss something on Fallon or what?

For the life of me I couldn't understand why Luck didn't take off running in this game. I don't remember him running once. With all the pressure Houston was bringing he should have made them pay with his feet. Helps keep the defense honest too.
