Few thoughts so far on the first half despite their awful premature nature

1) From the first few snaps the OL seems better than last season. Sure wasn't the most difficult thing in the world after last season's display but still nice to see it for a change. Even Donald Brown blocked

2)WC offense is here as expected. Lots of quick, short/screen passing and drastic change from last season. Not a strict WC type of offense though. Colts, as Pep said, would take their shots downfield too as exhibited by T Y's receiving TD after play action from Hasselbeck.

Speaking of that TD, TY made a hell of a catch and pretty sure he'll keep improving. Very good talent.

3)Not that we didn't know it but for once we have an adequate back up QB. It feels nice for a change.

4) A lot of penalties on both ends that just cost us a TD.

5) Many things will change over a period of time like offensive and defensive strategies, personnel etc. Over in Indy though, one thing remains the same and that's the sucking of Special Teams.

Before I get criticized here, I know it's still preseason and the 1st half of the 1st game but hey we have to talk about something.

We went from 3 and out all the time to an INT for a change. We're so predictable on offense looking to pass on every down.

At this point I would be more worried if the Colts won preseason games.

Brutal to watch...even by preseason standards. I personally saw no evidence of our new and improved OL & DL, including depth on DL. It's very early of course. Oh, and Fleener needs to show some hands at some point.

Could live with the fumble (solid reception and nice run preceded) had he made the TD catch (that was a gimme). Looked good overall, but still needs to make some meaningful catches.
