    Fantasy advice

Should I start Romo or Dalton this week at QB? Romo has played like complete crap the last two weeks (cost me a W last week) and will be home against Chicago. It's hard to predict whether he will play like crap again, or if he'll rise up to the Monday night occasion and finally put together a good fantasy performance. Dalton OTOH has been an absolute fantasy monster these last two weeks and is on the road against Jacksonville. He has a better matchup than Romo, but will he finally come back to earth?

I hate decisions like this because it always seems like I make the wrong one. I bet that on Tuesday, I'll be kicking myself and saying that I would have won my matchup if only I would have started the other QB instead.

Go with the hot hand and the better match up.

The new refs will also be in favor of less contact on the WR's which should help either decision you go with.

                Dalton for sure.

Jacksonville just isn't very good on D.

Thanks for the advice. I'll follow it and go with Dalton. Luck as a rookie put up monster fantasy stats against Jax last week, so you have to think that Dalton will too, especially since Cincy has some really nice weapons right now.

I'm 1-2 right now, so this week really is do or die for me. There is an astronomical difference between being 2-2 versus 1-3. If I'm 1-3 then I'm close to being done, but if I'm 2-2 I'm right in the thick of things.

I've found an early losing streak isn't too bad because it lets you work the waiver wire/FA and get dibs on the backups being thrust into starting roles, or the surprises who look like they might be hot this season. Then you end up with a stronger team for the stretch run.
Nuntius was right for a while. I was wrong for a while. But ultimately I was right and Frank Vogel has been let go.

Or should I say that worked out really well. Romo has been pathetic tonight.

                              Re: Fantasy advice

Well, I'm going to ask this exact same question again:

I'm in a playoff match-up this week. Should I go Dalton or Romo? Dalton is in Philly tonight against an Eagles team that has allowed the second most fantasy points to QB's this year. But they did win this past week. Could they come out with a spark tonight on national TV?

Romo is home Sunday against Pitt. He's been playing pretty good lately. A major reason for that is Dez Bryant, who has a fractured finger. It does look like Dez is going to give it a go this week, though who knows how effective he will be? Ike Taylor is out for Pitt, so that does make the Steelers less threatening.

Most of the logic says that I should start Dalton, but my gut tells me Romo for some reason. Manning, Brees, and Ryan have all played on Thursday nights recently and none of them played particularly great. Brees was awful and Manning and Ryan were below their normal fantasy output. Is that a coincidence, or is Thursday night just too quick to play sometimes? That has me somewhat concerned about Dalton. Of course, I'd hate to leave Dalton on my bench tonight and see him score 25-30 points. This is a tough call for me and it's in the most important of weeks.
