Oddly enough Peyton and Duncan are good friends

So we can see the parallels in this situation with Robinson/Duncan and Manning/Luck

It would also make what Manning said about Luck waiting the following year seem all the more fortuitous.

They also I think got new management at that point Robinson retired with his second ring no less.

Funny, because we happened to do just that.

Unless that player is Peyton, a fact that has been made obvious today.

People say how giving Manning all that money was a mistake. As far as I am concerned he is worth it and this game shows why. He has earned every penny of that freaking contract. I just don't know what to think. I always knew this team relied on Peyton way too much but it's difficult to see it show like this.
At least with Manning you know he's earned it I look at the rest of the team except for Addai and Clark and look rather disgusted right about now.

At this rate I think Manning may have been a discount.

            I must add:

60 yards of penalties and 2 turnovers. Tony Dungy would not be proud.

There is absolutely nothing "attacking" about our D.

Every time we've had momentum on a drive. The offensive line has just made a dumb penalty each time. Holding, hands to the face, false starts. Terrible.

Polian has been exposed. For all the *****ing and moaning I have done (and I hate complaining and complainers) he has actually been exposed. His whole defensive philosophy, as we all pretty much knew, is absolute nonsense.

You could drive a Mayflower truck thru that porous Colts' defense...
Nuntius was right for a while. I was wrong for a while. But ultimately I was right and Frank Vogel has been let go.

did you stop reading? Finish reading my post to get the answer. Manning and the Colts sucked his first year so no they didnt flip the switch right away.

Don't know who the 4th DL was on the long rush before commercial, but others were Mookie, Moala, and Anderson. I'd wager we had one - Bethea - starter worthy player on the field by typical NFL standards. Two if the other DL was Freeney or Mathis.

Pittsburgh is getting waxed almost as badly as we are.

I can deal with a couple years of growing pains. But, as has been evidenced today, one player can turn an entire franchise around.

Now I'm hearing on the radio Brackett is hurt? I mean I know I ripped on him, but at least he's played kind of hard today.
