Anthony Richardson is starting week 1 pre-season. Nothing but good things about him from camp.

      I'm ready for some football!

Nuntius was right for a while. I was wrong for a while. But ultimately I was right and Frank Vogel has been let go.

Richardson bounced back nice after throwing a pick. Can't believe Pierce dropped that!

just saw the box score, but AR put up some terrible numbers...making the HC look a little stupid naming him the starter

What's up with all of the spinal injuries this preseason? Is it really worse than ever? Has there been a change in the way players are playing, or equipment, that has increased the chances of this happening? Is it something to do with preseason players (less experienced/hungry) trying to make the teams? Are players (and team trainers) being taught to be more precautionary and it's making things look worse with players staying down and use of the backboard when maybe they wouldn't have done that in the past?

Also, while these are preseason games so it's kind of understandable why they suspend the games and call them... If the games aren't important enough to play out, are they important enough to play at all in the first place? Are we going to see regular season games called in the future now that we saw that happen last season and now it's happening during the preseason?

I really like this Lions team. A lot of talent and great coaching. Hope they make the playoffs and go on a run.

The Anthony Richardson era starts now! Lets go!!!

I just want to see progress this year. I hope Colts are bad enough to get MHJ. Then next year we go!

Steichen dumb 4th down calls made Reich look conservative. Wasted a great effort by the D. Oline couldn’t provide even a crease for run game.

Seems like the Colts can never convert a QB sneak for 1 yard.

O-line has to get some push in run game. Taylor wouldn’t have operated worth squat behind that unit either.

I absolutely HATE games where there are multiple attempts at going for it on 4th down. I understand SOME. I also understand the scoreboard, what the defense is doing, taking what you're given, and playing the field position game.
Also, how many failed attempts do you need to see before you stop doing it?

I was really hoping this crap left the building with Reich.

So, while there were good things today, and I do see this as a rebuilding year, I also think the Colts let a winnable game slip away. Whether they thought it was really winnable at the outset is one thing, but clearly the Colts were in the game and the scoreboard didn't need them going for it at every 4th down.
Nuntius was right for a while. I was wrong for a while. But ultimately I was right and Frank Vogel has been let go.
