Re: Not as big opt-out-news as Lebron but...........
I never mentioned a S&T. I was slightly batting around the idea of maybe trading West and signing Frye. To get slightly younger, and add more shooting. Since Frye is considered a stretch 4. But I don't consider Frye an elite PF. So I don't know about moving West to clear space for him.Comment

We'd have to trade a lot more than West to get under the cap so we can sign an FA at more than the MLE. I don't think Frye opted out so he could go for the MLE.BillS

Or throw in a first-round pick and flip it for a max-level point guard...Comment

Am I the only one who sees a problem with trading our team leader...?Comment

Nor did he opt out to come off the bench, I'd think. He's a starter in Phoenix and IMO could start for many other teams. Most current coaches don't share Frank's aversion to stretch bigs.
I kinda wonder, if we have a really good stretch big, would Frank play him? I would hope so; IMO a stretch big could potentially open up PG's post game the way Bosh does for LeBron.Comment
