Oh man if I am the Cavs I would have to insist on getting Brewer back in this deal too. Cavs need a defensive stopper badly.
Lebron can't guard Paul George the whole game ya' know. You can't get champagne from a garden hose.Comment

Peck is basically omniscient when it comes to understanding how the minds of Herb Simon and Kevin Pritchard work. I was a fool to ever question him and now feel deep shame for not understanding that this team believes in continuity above talent.Comment

Brewer would be really good on that team. Love has great chemistry with him.Comment

Re: Offseason News, Trades, Rumors, Etc.
I am actually really excited to see how this team plays without Lance, here is what I expect/hoping for.
1) Vogel to implement an actual offense
2) Hill proving all his haters wrong and show he can produce like he did 2 years ago when Lance wasn't a huge part of the team.
3) Hibbert getting his mojo back
4) West being West, nothing will change that
5) PG developing a post up game
6) Our role players stepping up and Lavoy Allen eventually taking Scolas place
7) Seeing how our starting lineup is with a shooter like Miles on the court. His stretching of the floor will really open up Hibbert and West to post more with the confidence of kicking it back out to a deadly 3 pt shooter.
8) I think Stuckey performs well on a contending team. Unlike turner, Stuckey knows his game and won't try to much. He knows how to drive the ball and get to the free throw line and is a huge step up over turner.
We were a better team 2 years ago, when Lance didn't play a huge role, than we were last year when Lance was great.
1. Hasn't happened yet
2. Won't be enough unless PG averages 25+
3. Dude shot 45% 2 seasons ago and 44% last season. Expecting something else is crazy
4. Age is slowing him down, he's already posting up less and his rebounding and defense are slipping
5. That would be nice, probably the most likely to happen
6. This would require Vogel to be flexible with his lineups. Role players can't step up if they only see the court in the last 60 seconds of a blowout
7. He's a solid bench guy, but let's not pretend like we signed Ray Allen
8. I think we should ask Pistons fans if Stuckey knows his game.Comment

Re: Offseason News, Trades, Rumors, Etc.
Vogel is a professional Coach. He has an offense in place. We can all argue the merits of it. But there is a plan which the players execute sometimes and sometimes not.
Now, back in the ABA days, Slick will tell you straight up (see the book Loose Balls for this) that they only have four or five plays at the most. The rest was simple: Bring the ball up and pass it off until someone has a shot. If no one has a shot give it to whoever is hot (Brown) and he will make a shot.Comment

The Cavs just put Wiggins on the table. Love may as well book a flight to Cleveland.

The latest offer could include Wiggins, power forward Anthony Bennett and a first-round pick.
But "could include" seems to be pure speculation, so I guess wait and see.Comment

Bledsoe and Phoenix not close to a deal.....
The future of one of the most talented free agents left on the market remains cloudy as Eric Bledsoe and the Phoenix Suns remain far apart in contract talks, according to sources close to the situation.
Make it happen Larry......Comment
