Might as well try a five guard lineup. Be a trail blazer.

If I was Cavs I would start all the #1 picks. Have Waiters come off the bench.

Are we sure Kahn isn't secretly working for them now?
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

Miami should have tanked. Unless they have a Carmelo deal waiting. This is a mistake. I hope they sign DWade to a max deal too.

There are two types of quarterbacks in the league: Those whom over time, the league figures out ... and those who figure out the league.

Hayward doesn't get that deal without playing in Utah, though. If he had played on a brighter stage, more of his flaws would've been highlighted. Not to mention, a more marquee team wouldn't be so worried about retaining a player like Hayward (at that price) to justify to their fans that they actually spent these past years building something.

They wouldn't because Pop doesn't give a damn about that. They could if he did though. If I were in Vegas, I'd be putting some money on them to win the title. With Pau, they'd be the clear favorites, and it'd still be a decent bet even if he goes elsewhere. They're probably the best bet on the board.

Since his contract decreases yearly, my guess is it would be around $3.75 to $4 million.

=== Knicks waive Odom, re-sign Cole Aldrich ===

New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The New York Knicks waived forward Lamar
Odom on Friday and re-signed center Cole Aldrich.

Odom, 34, was signed in April but never appeared in a game for the Knicks. The
14-year NBA veteran hasn't played in an NBA game since the 2012-13 season.

Knicks president Phil Jackson, who coached Odom for several seasons while with
the Lakers, said in a statement Odom "was unable to uphold the standards to
return as an NBA player" and said the move was necessary to free up a roster
                                spot.

Aldrich, 25, averaged 2.0 points and 2.8 rebounds over 46 games in his first
                                season with the Knicks.
