Miami is striking out on every FA they wanted to get to help Lebron. That can't be sitting well.

They embraced each other after Pacers got knocked out by the Heat for the 3rd year in a row. I don't think there's any beef between them like the media tries to create and convince viewers.Comment

Re: Offseason News, Trades, Rumors, Etc.
The last time I bought a Pacers jersey I was 7 years old and it was a Chris Mullins jersey. If the Pacers were to resign Lance I was seriously considering getting his jersey. Something tells me he won't be a Pacer here shortly. Guess I'll just have to buy his Hornets away jersey.Comment

Stating the somewhat obvious but...
Bulls told Carlos Boozer it's a possibility he will be amnestied or used in a sign-&-trade but have made no final decisions, sources said

Guess they may amnesty Boozer if they need to, that was a question."It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

Re: Offseason News, Trades, Rumors, Etc.
When LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh went their separate ways after a lunch meeting last Wednesday, they went not knowing whether they had played their last game together, according to sources with knowledge of the situation.
Dwyane Wade wants 4 years, 60 million?!? To do what, exactly??? That's like a million dollars per game.Comment

According to CBA FAQ, the amnesty window is the seven days after the July moratorium, so July 10-17 is when it would happen.

People are seriously asking me if Heat would want Lance Stephenson. Are there crazy pills I don't know about being handed out on Twitter?

.@Vincent_Ellis56 reports on Greg Monroe not exactly being super-excited to play with Josh Smith long-term: http://t.co/KjFnsyu8Qh

Monroe can't leave that monstrous defensive front line that terrorized the league last season! !!!! 0'Comment

Re: Offseason News, Trades, Rumors, Etc.
At this point I'd sign off on trading both of them. Monroe and Smith have both pissed me off with their inability to deal with their own shortcomings.
The cartoonish loathing of smith is sometimes based in reality but also ventures far too often into the absurd. Monroe has hardly been an innocent bystander in this fiasco. Maybe if he bothered to work on his game or played defense like someone that doesn't fight bulls for a living, we'd have a better season and Monroe wouldn't be getting the cold shoulder from every potential suitor.
Monroe's allergy to defense (at either C or PF) is no less infuriating than Smith's fetish with the three point line.Last edited by Kstat; 07-03-2014, 07:29 AM.
It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.
