        HA! I think it worked out well for Detroit. He's a PREMIUM shooter. If they can pull off getting Isiah Thomas out of Sacramento and into a Pistons uni? It would be........

        Smith
        ????
        Drummond
        Meeks
        Thomas

        This lineup hinges on what happens with Monroe and Jennings. Can they trade Jennings? Will they let Monroe go to an offer or force a S&T of him?

This doesn't count the last 3 games of the season. I can go in a game and shoot one shot and if I make it my PER is going to be great.

              I don't hate the guy, but he is definitely not some Pacer messiah so many make it out to be.

              CLE(+1 WIN): 18:00 - 11 pts, 1 TRB, 80% shooting.
              HOU(-13Loss): 28:00 - 29pts, 5 TRB, 2 steals, 1 block, 58% shooting(you can't use the argument blowout when dude played 28 mins)
              CHI(-4Loss): 9:50 - 10pts, 1 TRB, 43% shooting(+/- of +17)
              PHO(+2WIN) 29:00 - 14 pts, 2 TRB, 2 blocks, 50% shooting
              @SAC(-1Loss) 40:00 - 23 pts, 1 TRB, 1 Assist, 1 block, 50% shooting
              NOH(+13 Win) 30:00 - 22 pts, 4 TRB, 60% shooting
              @UTA(+7 Win) 31:00 - 14 pts, 6 TRB, 2 Assists, 40% shooting
              ORL(+12 Win) 20:00 - 9 pts, 3 TRB, 40% shooting

              @OKC(+5 Win) 18:00 - 13 pts, 3 TRB, 3 assists 56% shooting
              @CLE(+10 Win) 27:00 - 12 pts, 1 TRB, 1 assist, 1 steal 56% shooting
              IND(+10 Win) 34:00 - 20 pts, 3 TRB, 1 assist 67% shooting
              @ CHA(-11 loss) 46:00 - 32 pts, 7 TRB, 2 assist, 1 steal 48% shooting
              ATL(+6 Win) 40:00 - 33 pts, 3 TRB, 1 assist, 1 steal, 2 blocks 48% shooting

              I said he played a pivotal roll on that team off the bench. He averaged 15 minutes per game with them. Copeland had more PPG despite playing two less minutes then Luis Scola and very comparable assist/rebounding numbers considering he didn't play as many minutes. This isn't taking into account the abomination that is Scola's defense. You're using a small, small sample size from a Knicks team that couldn't even get to the Eastern Conference Finals as opposed to the 82-games before that. Good try. He has routinely proven to be a very competent role player and we're not using him at all(no one said Messiah, nice try though).

                  Not really. Lance will never see a deal like this until he learns to SHOOT. And Rondo will never see a $100 million extension until he learns to SHOOT. Lack of consistent jumper hurts your market value with teams. Everyone is about spacing the floor these days.

                    We needed a guard that can shoot like Meeks. We absolutely overpaid, but at least he's a fit.

                    It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

                      He only played for the knicks for one season, if you actually look at the boxscores for the game, some of the games were already over before halftime.....

                          I really wish you were right here but I think pretty much everyone would be thrilled to have Lance at that Meeks contract.

                            Holy crap that is way too much money.
                            "It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

                              People here are killing Cleveland for overpaying Irving and Detroit for overpaying Meeks. Have you guys ever been to Cleveland or Detroit? They have to " overpay" to get quality guys there.

                              If the Lakers or Heat offered these guys that money those organizations would be overpaying. Cleveland and Detroit can not make offers to free agents equal to most other teams.

                                Erm, he played one season with us and when he got a shot, proved yet again he's a good role player. How's that not sinking in? Some of the games that you claim were "over before half time" he had a role in that as he played 20+ minutes. Teams don't stop playing their starters after half time unless they have a 30 point lead, so that's weak. I should have taken my own advice from the get-go and bowed out.

                                Take care.
