As others have said, this could very well be your Lance replacement if offers get out of hand. Interesting move. I prefer to think in terms of this year, and I think this helps us. I defended Granger but it's pretty clear he wasn't going to help this team win a title. Turner is better.Comment

I grew up with Evan Turner, he was one of my best friends in elementary/junior high school.
He was frustrated in Philadelphia, but is a really hard worker who prides himself in being a good defender and has always been a winner. I feel bad we traded Danny, but Evan is going to play really hard and smart for us. He fits so well with our identity.

I don't know what Philly gets out of this deal aside from more tanking. There is literally zero downside for the pacers here.
It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

I wouldn't say crap, but maybe crap by the standards they have set this year.
He clearly wasn't producing much. Averaging 8 points and Butler is more automatic behind the 3 point line than Danny, which was basically all Danny was being used for so far
