    Pacers/Bobcats Post Game Thread - 12/13 - Pacers win

No one is doing it...so I guess I will.

Pacers win....but barely. This was an ugly win. This wasn't PG24s night on the offensive end.

The Bobcats are much better this year compare to last....defense and hustle is their hallmark.

    Thoughts?

It will be fun to watch the Bobcats play (somebody else) over the next couple of seasons.

it just didn't look like they were into playing tonight. bobcats though, never quit.
seemed like the pacers were in sleepwalk mode tonight.
and yes, charlotte is better than in years past no doubt.

Bold prediction: You won't be watching any more Bobcats games after this season.

Solid, if quiet, games by Ian, George Hill and Butler added up.

And I'd be remiss if I didn't recap the game in one Denari-Buckner exhange...

*Lance throws weird, inexplicable, hilarious pass over head, back to top of the arc*

          Denari: What was that?

          Buckner: That was Lance.

Final buzzer was a blessing. Much, much more difficult than I ever would have imagined. They are not going to be an easy out for whomever ends up facing them in the playoffs.

Reminded me of the Philly and Toronto games.

Not too concerned, this team gets up to play the big boys usually and that bodes well for the playoffs.

Agreed....if they continue to make the right moves....they can be a solid Team. Of course, this is MJ....so for all we know...he could blow this all up next season.

The Bobcats are certainly a playoff team this year. Heck, if the New York teams don't get it together then they could even manage to get HCA.

Paul George had a poor game tonight for his standards. He even missed some defensive assignments. He did a good job at facilitating and not turning the ball over, though (5 assists with 1 turnover).

David had a nice game and exploited his missmatches against Tyler Zeller and Josh McRoberts.

Roy had a very good game but Al Jefferson was able to match his production and have a very good game as well. It was fun seeing them going at each other.

Lance was simply amazing. Our best player tonight.

Hill had a quiet but really good game. He shot well and he played nice defense. You always have to appeciate it when your PG has 3 blocks. He also didn't committ a turnover and he made the free throws that iced the game.

Scola was very good offensively but I think that he could be better defensively. He should grab more rebounds but our whole second unit struggled with rebounding tonight.

Rasual Butler had a very, very nice game. He gave us some unexpected production. His 8 points on 5 shots are appreciated but what impressed me was his 2 blocks. His second block, in particular, was very impressive.

Ian struggled tonight. He had two really good plays (the block and the put-back) but other than that he faced some issues. He couldn't secure defensive rebounds like Scola and he also fouled a lot.

CJ had a mostly forgettable night. He hit an important 3 at the start of the 4th quarter but other than that he didn't do anything of note.

Good teams win. Other teams make excuses for bad games. Pacers won on a let down night when they weren't playing their best.

I can see the Bobcats go after Hansbrough next season at a minimal price. He fits that whole hustle and energy motif that they are trying to cultivate.

PG had a bad game I wonder who we could get for him at the trade deadline.

Paul George is turning into a bit of a diva- lazy on defense, whining to refs, and just some stretches of lethargic, selfish play.

I don't understand the Bobcats' crunch time strategy running an ISO play of Al Jefferson vs Roy Hibbert, the from-runner for DPOY
