    NBA.com just got waaaaaaaaaaaay better.

If you go to each player's profile page you'll see there some several tabs. Go to the 'Game logs' tab and what you see is something really cool:

There are videos of every single player's FG attempted/made, FT attempted/made, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks from every single game he has played so far. This is really good stuff.

Take a look for example at PG's page. http://stats.nba.com/playerGameLogs....rowsPerPage=25

Free time has just been diminished by a wide margin

    Wow, that's almost unbeleivable!

Played around with it for a while, but found it difficult to navigate and find what I was looking for.

For example, wanted to see the videos of all 5 of George Hill's steals from last night's game.
(give it a try and see what I mean) I went to G. Hill's profile page, but did not find the
"Game logs" tab anywhere on the page.

Eventually found the videos I was looking for, but it took a while and lots of searching.
Guess it will just take some practice and getting used to.

Wow, I'm not a huge numbers guys. I don't have the mathematical prowess to study and scrutinize that sort of thing.

However, getting the chance to watch all a players attempts/makes, rebounds, block, assist, etc. Now THAT is a pretty interesting idea.

Plus, I have a feeling that watching a season long compilation of Lance's turnovers would make for good blooper reel material Love you, Lance!

So to a certain extent they've basically turned NBA.com into a hybrid with the Synergy Sports website some of us have been using the last couple of years. Cool!

What I like about it is that it adds the "eyeball" to those damn integers that lie all the damn time.

A synergy subscription gets you a) a breakdown by play type as well (PNR, Off Ball Screen, Spot Up, etc.), and it gives you the Points Per Play for each play type. Oh, and no ads.

Still, this is pretty damn close. Kinda takes the luster off a synergy subscription.

The version I used was. You paid for use for the rest of the year. I haven't done it in a couple seasons, though, so I don't know what the story is these days.

Yeah, you can get a free little preview but for the full year it's $40 for a specific team or $90 for the league.

Do you see ads before the videos? I have AdBlock on and I feared it wouldn't let me see them but they load just fine.
