    Pacers/Knicks Postgame Thread

Overall it wasn't pretty, but we're a clutch team led by a top guy.

    Nice win!

That was special. The Knicks played really hard and really well . Obviously PG took over overcoming some crazy shots by Beno

That would have been a tough pill to swallow if we lost.....just a frustrating game all night. PG turned into Mr. Clutch in OT
Larry Bird and Ryan Grigson- wasting the talents of Paul George and Andrew Luck

The story of this game was so close to being, "Beno Udrih beat us."

Pacers shouldn't have won this game by most any means, outplayed by a team on back to back, shorthanded, missing free throws in the 4th quarter, but then Paul George put on his crown.

I thought Beno had the hands of God there for the whole game, all that crap he threw up was going in.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

Just goes to show that you can't take any game for granted in this league. We escaped.

Regardless of what we should have done, we just beat a team with a pretty strong roster at THE GARDEN. Those teams we played on our 4 games 5 nights stretch didn't do what they were SUPPOSED to do. Cant we just celebrate how great of a game that was?

Paul George just cemented himself as a legit MVP candidate by taking over at MSG on national television.

              Gimme the gold (and blue).

The game turned when we started getting shots from inside 3point range. I thought we were back to The Coach We Dare Not Speak His Name for a while there.

Or throw in a first-round pick and flip it for a max-level point guard...

Ugly win. Refs may have given us second life at the end of the game (not saying it wasn't a foul, but Lebron or any other star is most likely NOT getting that called on them) but we came out and won the game in OT.

Gotta quit missing FTs in the 4th (Hill) and we also need to quit playing carelessly (Lance)

Superstar effort by PG. Great to see and much needed.

I'm elated. 4 years ago... the Pacers are in the Knicks position in this game.
"We've got to be very clear about this. We don't want our players hanging around with murderers," said Larry Bird, Pacers president.

That was a game we were supposed to lose. Hill missing two clutch shots and free throws..Beno making everything he throws up. The Knicks played much better than their record.

But the best teams win games they are supposed to lose. Miami did that in the playoffs a few times..

Also this is a game where we could have really used Danny.

The player of the game goes to PG. Dude is so clutch.

Despite GH missing critical FTs and late game 3's in the final minutes of the regulation, I think we should not be too down on him. He delivered also at pivotal points in the game and his last 3 gave the Pacers the lead late in the 4th.

Our guys need to work on their FTs. One miss can just be a game changer when the game is this close.

PG did what superstar s are suppose to do.

I wonder what happened to lance after some bad play late in the third. Did he self correct and step back. I noticed he was still rebounding, but always threw ball right away to either PG or Hill. Or did the coaches put lance in his place a little?

                              just wondering
