    Paul George is the third best player in the NBA.

    I'll say it. The MVPNNLOK (MVP not named LeBron or Kevin TM Grantland), he's the next best player in the NBA behind two guys who will end their careers among the top 10 players in NBA history.

    He's the ****. Other than LBJ and Kevin, there is not another player I'd want under any circumstances.

    I don't need to see him dominate Carmelo Anthony in the playoffs again. I don't need to see him harass Rose into an awful shooting night.. I've seen enough. We're watching what will be known as the greatest Pacers player ever.

    And yeah, this is probably too soon and I'm off my rocker. I'm may be on my own Island of crazy.. or something. I don't care. There's the three best players in the NBA and then everyone else after that. PG is among that three. That's ****ing badass.

      It's pretty hard to argue with that.

      When looking at PG's overall game and what he's been doing so far early in the season,
      he very well could be one of the best, if not thee best player out there.

      Inside, outside, defense, he excels at everything. He's been simply spectacular.

                                  He's definitely top 5 this season. Obviously you can't put him above Lebron or Durant yet, but it definitely gets subjective after that.

                                  As far as this season is concerned, in no particular order after LBJ and Durant:

                                  Paul George - everyone here knows why.

                                  CP3- having the best season of his career so far. 25/12 with 3 steals is just obnoxious.

                                  I think that most people would have those as their top 4 in this young season. For the 5th player, I'd maybe go Kevin Love. I don't know if he's a top 5 player per se, but he's having a top 5 season so far.

                                          George Karl last night almost took Paul George over Durant because he said that unlike Durant Paul George plays in both sides of the court.

                                          I think Paul George is top 5 right now but CP3 and Howard are up there too.

                                              Could be. If I still feel this way in January I'll start saying something similar, but I want a large body of work before I do. Looking very good, though. Very good.

                                                  1. LBJ
                                                  2. Durant
                                                  3. CP3
                                                  4. Harden
                                                  5. George

                                                  You can make a case for George at 4 since Harden plays no defense whatsoever.

                                                          Uhh, ya definitely agree. Harden may be top 4 scorer, but that is it. Not top 4 overall at all.
