Warriors averaging 111 points per game.
Spurs averaging 100 points per game.

Last night? Spurs 76, Warriors 74. Lowest scoring game of the year.
Just imagine what the "Guess the Score" stats would be for that one.

And Toney Douglas led the Dubs in scoring with 21 points. No idea how that happened.

Here is an odd/off topic thought. The NBA ESPN theme has stuck in my mind from yesterday and won't go away. And don't get me started with the old NBC one.
        Never forget

Still my favorite. I did an edit on this version and made a short one that I can use for my boot sound during the season.

Or throw in a first-round pick and flip it for a max-level point guard...

Bonehead play of the year by Wade, and best play of the year so far by Green all in one second of playing time.

Now if Philly hits a 3 here to win, this may be the greatest regular season day ever lol.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

Either we're in for a lot of surprises or we can look back at this and laugh at the end of the season, but here's the east standings atm.

                    1. Indiana 7-0
                    2. Philadelphia 4-3
                    3. Miami 4-3
                    4. Atlanta 3-3
                    5. Charlotte 3-3
                    6. Toronto 3-4
                    7. Boston 3-4
                    8. Orlando 3-4
                    Cleveland 3-4
                    Detroit 2-3
                    Chicago 2-3
                    New York 2-3
                    Milwaukee 2-3
                    Washington 2-3
                    Brooklyn 2-4

Besides Indiana and Miami, EVERY team I predicted to miss the playoffs make up the other spots lol. Don't mean crap now, I just think it's humorous

I love how people say the NBA season does not count until Christmas, but if you end up not having home court advantage by a game or two, well yeah these early season games still count.

Could Wade have looked like any bigger of a jackass on that free throw attempt

Houston Rockets Rumors: Dwight Howard Already Unhappy, James Harden Upset With Jeremy Lin

Houston Rockets star Dwight Howard is reportedly unhappy with the team's point guard situation. Along the same lines, James Harden appeared to first ignore and then berate point guard Jeremy Lin on Thursday during Houston's loss to the Lakers.

                          ---------

                          Mmm, interesting.
They have already made Beverley starter.
They can trade Lin already, but it's just his contract is up to 8M/year for 2 years. Bummer.

                            JaVale McGee broke his leg.

DENVER -- Nuggets starting center JaVale McGee is out indefinitely with a stress fracture in his lower left leg.

Team spokesman Tim Gelt said X-rays revealed the stress fracture in McGee's left tibia on Sunday.

McGee has been chronically bothered by soreness in the tibia, the inner and typically larger of the two bones between the knee and the ankle.

Timofey Mozgov figures to get his first start of the season in McGee's place when the Nuggets play at Utah on Monday night. J.J. Hickson also could see his minutes increased in McGee's absence.

The Nuggets are off to a 1-4 start under new coach Brian Shaw, who replaced George Karl last summer.

Sucks. Don't want him on my team, but the league is better with him in it.
