Which is exactly what they needed. Lack of confidence and direction was their biggest enemy this season and right now they have it.

They have a better roster than your average 8 seed, and Carmelo is always a threat to win a game on his own.

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

I still don't see them as a threat in the playoffs (unless the Pacers go back in the tank).

They're in the tank right now. They have to pull themselves out in the next 2 weeks. And that was the point. The Knicks have better chemistry at this moment than Indiana does, and that should be concerning.

If the Knicks take this game against the Heat, then you just know that the Pacers will blow it against the Hawks.

I think the Pacers are coming out of it. The offense is clicking now but the defense went south, and the defense should be much easier to fix.

Now watch them go and lose to Atlanta.

Which isn't necessarily a bad thing?
There is no NBA player named Monte Ellis.

Miami's defense is pretty bad. Has been for a while now.

How do you lose track of LeBron? That's inexusable.

Knicks and Hawks are tied if Hawks lose and Knicks win. I guess the bigger deal is the 1 seed though.

Well, Chicago-Brooklyn-New York is significantly tougher than Toronto-Washington-Charlotte. The 2 seed is the easier road to the conference finals. The only negative is you wouldn't have Game 7 at home if you need it.

I have a gut feeling the Pacers will have a really good game today. We'll see.

As a reference point, he's got 27 more offensive rebounds than Hibbert, West and Paul George combined.
I hope Josh Smith and Brandon Jennings take some perverse credit for this.
