There's also the potential under that situation for Miami to go through a brutal series or two before they get to us. If they get stuck with the Knicks in the first round (who they play today and that should be interesting to watch) and then have to deal with the Nets in the second (a team they've lost to three times this year), they're not going to have the luxury of coasting through and resting guys during any series like they did last year when they drew Milwaukee in the first round.

A moment to mention Andre drummond is the first player in the 21st century to record 400 offensive rebounds in a season, and only the second piston ever after Rodman.

As a reference point, he's got 27 more offensive rebounds than Hibbert, West and Paul George combined.

Too bad offensive rebounds don't help with that Free Throw percentage.
There is no NBA player named Monte Ellis.

Well, it could in theory since it makes offensive rebound opportunities.

He's slowly getting better at that. Baby steps. Hopefully he'll be making more than he misses next season.

They're hardly scared. They're a lot of things, but the one thing they aren't is afraid.

Course they are, they lost at home to a T'Wolves team without Peckovic or Kevin Martin. And the Spurs were also after Evan Turner. Which is why I think people on this forum need to let the jury still be out on ET. Vogel isn't using him right but.....when the Heat and Spurs pursue the same player before the trade deadline, there's value there.

Pacers are terrified of the Heat, they lost to a Raptors team without Amir or Kyle Lowry.

Hint: That's a really dumb correlation.

They have lebron. All other arguments are invalid. That would be the case even if they weren't already the 2 time defending champs.
