Eh, Rose was playing like garbage a month and half back. Was probably hurting just as much as he was helping. He was a different player his MVP year. (But still not even close to worthy of the MVP.) I don't understand how they got significantly better when Deng left. Makes no sense.
There is no NBA player named Monte Ellis.

Best records since Jan 1 (assuming OKC loses to LAL)

              1. Houston 22-6 (.785)
              2. Los Angeles Clippers 23-8 (.742)
              3. Memphis 23-9 (.718)
              4. San Antonio 21-9 (.700)
              5. Chicago 23-10 (.697)
              6. Brooklyn 19-9 (.678)
              7. Indiana 21-10 (.677)
              8. Oklahoma City 21-11 (.656)
              9. Miami 19-10 (.655)
              10. Toronto 20-11 (.645)
              11. Golden State 19-11 (.633)
              12. Dallas 19-13 (.593)
              13. Portland 17-13 (.566)
              14. Washington 19-15 (.558)
              15. Phoenix 17-14 (.548)

Presented without a ton of comment but that is the top 15 records in the NBA since January 1. Lots of things going on here, but a big thing to notice is that the East has been noticeably better since January 1.

I definately think the Heat is in their head on some level talking about what a big deal it is to get HFA etc and its true but the Heat don't take it seriously(since they've been there and done that)

I'm assuming this is in response to what I said.

I assume this is in jest while upsets happen this is the NBA and in the grand scheme of things one loss doesn't make or break a season like it does in the NFL.

Ryan Kelly is pretty decent he's apparently going to be Bill Cowher's future son in law as well(since we're referencing the NFL here)

This has been the most Westbrookian 30 seconds of basketball ever.

The Pacers, Heat, and Thunder combined have lost 8 straight.

The Thunder unequivocally a better basketball team with Russell Westbrook than without him, but holy crap when he follows up a monster dunk like that with a pull up jumper 3 with 15 seconds on the shot clock and airballs it, it is just so amazing as a third party fan. That was literally one of the funniest things i have ever seen. Especially because he is mean mugging so hard setting up for the shot in classic Westbrook fashion

If the Bulls win out and play Butler/Noah 45+ minutes each game, I'd happily concede the 1st seed to them. Not that it'll happen, but its worked so well for them in the past with all their deep finals runs [/s/]. Lebron playing 45 minutes in a loss is just a cherry on top.
