i wonder how much it will be for? im sure no GM wants to overpay for Tyler, i think the 4 mill qualifying offer was a bit much, im sure it will be a 2yr 6mill deal

Unlikely. He should be the 3rd big. Jonas/Amir would start.

He either got more money or just didn't want to play for the Pacers any more, considering he wanted a starting role.

He didn't necessarily need to start. He just didn't want to play 15 minutes a night with no shot - short of a catastrophic injury - of getting more playing time. As the third big, he can probably get 25+ a night, and that's what he wanted.
