I was hoping to see a battle in summer league.

However, he appears to be an upgrade to Ben Hansbrough. If Hill goes down, hopefully he'll be someone we can play with some confidence.

Part of taking players especially bench players is so the starters have something to challenge them in practice.
Something Bird commented on. Last year the bench was not much of a challenge. What is sad is that last years bench was an improvement over the previous years bench. Three years and three remakes. Hopefully this one sticks around
because they ARE better.

He doesn't look all that quick but he can jump. Seems to get into the lane and finish pretty well. According to the article posted earlier, he's a smart kid with good vision. Wonder why he's bounced around so much?

He should be on the cheap with non-guarantee. He could be instrumental for a salary stuffer come December when Gerald is traded to the 1st team that loses their point guard and wing player at the same time (excluding Minny).

that's kinda what I'm thinking. 2 years at the minimum with the 2nd one unguaranteed to potentially help facilitate a future deal.

The fact that Ben Hansbrough was ever on an NBA roster, let alone for an entire season, is one of the most confusing things I've seen in all my years of closely following the NBA.

As for the Donald Sloan deal, I assume there is as much guaranteed money owed to him by the Pacers as there is owed to me by the Pacers.
