Re: The Pacers select Solomon Hill?
That is two years in a row the Pacers use a first rounder on a guy projected to go in the middle of the 2nd round. Hope it works out better than Miles Plumlee, who was also a 4-year guy who projected as a garbage/rebound/hustle guy.<---- Hansbrough smiling in the training room after Gerald Henderson's cheap shot. UNC won the game, Tyler was happy so he took this picture. Roy Williams keeps it on his desk.Comment

Re: The Pacers select Solomon Hill?
Seems mainly like a pick intended to guard the elite small forwards in the league... not someone you will ask to shoot or dribble much.
Reggie Bullock goes 2 picks later to the Clippers.<---- Hansbrough smiling in the training room after Gerald Henderson's cheap shot. UNC won the game, Tyler was happy so he took this picture. Roy Williams keeps it on his desk.Comment

Re: The Pacers select Solomon Hill?
I'll admit to not having seen him beyond those highlights above. There seemed to be a lot more firepower on the board for a team who was looking to improve bench scoring.Comment

Re: The Pacers select Solomon Hill?
I like the pick, was he a reach? Yes, but I think he can give 15 mpg off the bench right now as a role player, he was a reach, but we were looking for a role playerComment

Re: The Pacers select Solomon Hill?
I like it. Highlights can tell you some things but there were times Hill put Arizona completely on his back. Especially in the tourney. Pacers need some scoring off the bench and dudes offense is nice. Dont think he's much on the defensive end tho. He could play a little bu PF I'm sure if we wanted to go small. Nice pick up IMO if we can't keep HansbroughI Bleed BlueComment

Re: The Pacers select Solomon Hill?
I think it's a solid pick, and there are so many options to go back into the draft if they want. Solomon was a solid player for U of A, I just think people have ridiculously high expectations for a late first round pick in a ****** draft."It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

Re: The Pacers select Solomon Hill?
If Mitchell and Franklin weren't there I'd like it a lot more because I view almost everyone outside of them from this point as a complete crap shoot and Hill is one of the few left that is a safer "should at least be worth the roster spot" guys
Hopefully but not holding breath we move up in the 2ndComment
